I worked in Muskrat Dam back in 2011-2012 , and I remember the ice road trucker crew coming through while I was installing an asphalt roof on the health center in the depths of winter . T.V is T.V, but those roads are something to be reckoned with. I tell ya what . Imagine an OFSC snowmobile trail that hasn’t been groomed in a month and you see semi trucks with mobile homes bobbing and weaving over the humps coming towards you. Had to purposely ditch the truck and get it stuck to let them by , then dig myself out, throw another Gerry in the gas tank, and continue on.
A couple weeks ago we were on the big windy, caught a 29 and 30, but also watched plenty of 28+ inch fish turn around when it would hit a certain beam
I always love the guys saying not to fish for bass in the winter. While catching walleyes out of 30 to 40ft.... a fish is a fish.
