I have pretty much a whole page of notes detailed to plan out what I want to say here. There’s so much I want to say yet I’m not really sure how to. I’ll start out by saying that ponies definitely are a big part of my life. I’m always going to love them no matter what and I will always have endless love for this caring community. It’s surreal with how time passes. All the lessons. All the adventures. All the songs. They’ve passed far from something that was once fresh and brand new. Despite this there are still the memories and feelings that they hold which would be a shame to forget all of it. Where will we be going to after this? Many ask.
To home.
What’s home to you?
I’d say ponies and this community are definitely like a second home to me. Home is where you feel comfortable. Cozy. Where you feel like you can put your all into maintaining it. It’s something that’d sting to let go. Even for a second.
I won’t let it go. I’ll be where I’ve always been because it’s where my heart is.
This community is something special and it’s surreal being able to see and experience the love and passion that everyone has for the same thing. These past years have been amazing. Especially this year, with the people that I was able to interact with at conventions. I think just the fact that I’ve been able to interact with people in this community and experience that warmth is super amazing. I’ve practically grown up with ponies and that’s super surreal. The first time I attended a convention was Everfree Northwest 2017 and it was a new experience. Seeing everyone gathering for the same thing and seeing all the ponies. It made me smile lots. It made me realize that this was a community that I would stay in for a long time.
I remember uploading my first real song as NeverLastStanding and it getting on EQD’s music of the day. That was in 2015. It’s super crazy how much has changed since then with the amazing
musicians I’ve met and the wonderful people that I’ve spoken to.
It's definitely something that I won't forget and will always warm my heart.

Ahhhhhhh, ONCE AGAIN CHECK OUT THE NEW PONIES AT DAWN ALBUM. ALSO CHECK OUT A STATE OF SUGAR BECAUSE THEY DESERVE LOVE, AND ALL THE OTHER PONY COMP ALBUMS AHHHH. Honestly so much has happened in these months that I can’t explain it all. Though the show has ended the love that I have for it is never ending and the imprint that it brought will be something that will inspire us to continue to create. It’s surreal because to me it doesn’t feel like it has ended. Perhaps it hasn’t hit me yet but instead I’m happy and motivated. I hope I’ll be able to continue to support everyone in this community and to shower them with love and support!!!! We’re not going anywhere and we’ll continue to spread that love and pony spirit!

I’ve always stuck with this thought in my mind that I haven’t put my all in anything ever. I see these performances that many have put on with blood, sweat & tears. The buildup, and wanting to continue on. Though perhaps that feeling is because I didn’t dare to look at the long term results and only the instant results. Saying I haven’t put my all in anything would be dishonest to this community. The contributions that I’ve made are things that I never thought I would do. I just need those reminders and everyone needs that reminder for the love and passion that they truly contribute to this community. No matter if it’s big or small, it’s something that’s important. It’s something that’s a group effort. Something that we created as a community.
I think back to my past contributions to this community. I recall my hyper excitement without any breaks to be seen. I still have that excitement and love, yet it usually comes in bursts and that word “lazy” starts to seep into my mind. There’s that doubt of whether I should still be called “hype horse,” or if I really contribute to this community. I recall the many words of love that I’d leave in support of the wonderful musicians. I still want to do that. Where did that endless energy go? But I have to remind myself that I can’t be 100% all the time. I can’t give out endless paragraphs of praise every second of the day and expect to be fine at the end of it. Despite all this I still don’t regret or mind the time spent supporting other creators. It melts my heart to see their response and notice the love that I have for their creations. It’s the very thing that I encouraged others to do. To show that you’re not alone in this community and that we will only continue to thrive as long as we share the passion and spirit that we all have for ponies. When I come to think of how I’ve lost the role of “hype horse,” I think through all the times I’ve spent passionately speaking about someone else's creation and how I’ve never spoken about something that I’m passionate about with someone who is as passionate about it as I am. Despite that, I don’t regret the times I’ve hyped over others creations. It makes me so, so happy and whenever I hear a song that I love, I just want to write forever about it and how I feel while listening to it. The little details that are special to me and how special the creation that they made is.
Doubts are normal and it’s normal for us to have them. It’s about figuring out why we have them and not letting them take over you. Where will we go from here? Will this be someone’s favorite song? Did I put my all into something? Did that convention performance mean anything? Little doubts that really shouldn’t mean anything yet I overthink a lot. Though as I think right now it’s a silly thought because those moments were where I truly had the happiest memories. Those moments are ones that I won’t forget and are very special to me. Even if it didn’t mean much to anyone else, it meant a lot to me and that’s all that matters. I just have to take the feelings that I have and share that with everyone else. They may not understand it the way that I do, but they’ll understand in the way they do and feel that same love and passion. I hope one day I’ll be able to put these feelings into a song one day and feel that release. Music is about sharing experiences and I want to share those with all of you. You may relate, you may dance, you may reflect. Regardless, it’s about taking the passion and love that I put it in and having your own take on it. This community has something special like that. Taking your passion and love for something and sharing that with others. It’s not something you do alone. It’s something that’s accomplished together and it’s what makes everything glow gorgeously bright. Blindly leading to the path that we all come “home.”
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, where do I even start. FIRST OFF, PLEASE CHECK OUT PONIES AT DAWN - ETERNAL. IT’S HONESTLY SO GORGEOUS AND once again has many great musicians from the fandom making such amazing songs!!!! ALSO THIS PROBABLY HAS BEEN THE LONGEST TIME SINCE I’VE last uploaded an original song sooooo I’m super glad to be back with an upload!!!! This song definitely was something a little different for me and I’m super glad that I was able to get it out to you all!!! The inspiration for this song was very inspired by my favorite song Light Delight by Poppin’ Party. It’s a song that’s super important to me and ever since I heard it I’ve always wanted to make something like it to bring into the fandom. The meaning of the song centers around learning that you don’t have to cry alone and though the journey of struggles is not easy there’s the realization that you aren’t alone and that you’ll find that “light delight”. You don’t always have to be at your best and you shouldn’t shy away to open yourself to others.
With this song this is once again me trying to stretch away from doing EDM while still having that sound that I want to convey in my music. I definitely want to do more rock oriented songs and I hope I’ll be able to deliver with that! Despite being my first attempt at rock there were for sure unfinished projects of rock style songs where I tried to figure out how to get it to sound how I wanted. Slowly after months of trying to make a rock type song this one sprung to idea. It’s definitely a different experience doing rock without having the real instruments for it though I think composition and figuring the inner workings of the genre is just as important as being able to play the instruments. This song concept was one that actually came a few days after arriving back from BronyCon. There was that elation and love that I had for the community and I decided to try once again at rock. This was one of the projects where I opened up Fl Studio and the first pattern that I had was the melody that you hear right now in the song. I had that down and after that I took a few days off from working on the project. For the longest time I had the buildup for the chorus and didn’t know where to go from there. I tried different chords, variations and was super unsure on where to go with this.
One day I had some chords that I thought sounded pretty okay and decided that I was going to write some lyrics and see how it turned out. The process of the lyrics were opposite of what I did previously in the song. I had the pony vocals and I used those to make little snippets and words, as heard in the start with “You’ll play your part,” & “Oh how I miss you.” I decided that after I wrote lyrics I was satisfied with I would write down the melody and then use clips from the show to string the lyrics together. It was probably the most ambitious thing that I’ve done and I’m surprised that I was able to finish the song in general. When I got to making the vocal chop lyrics in the chorus it was pretty close to the deadline for submitting the album and I was really working to make sure I would be able to submit the song in time. I’d say compared to the rest of the song making the vocal chop lyrics in the chorus probably took the most amount of time. Despite it not being perfect, I'm still happy that I was able to convey the lyrics that I wrote. After the rock section in this track there is an orchestral break and then a happy hardcore drop. I thought it would be fitting to include these styles as it would portray the different styles of music that I make, love, and the journey of my experience in this community. While all these styles of music are different there’s still the common thing that the share, which would be the main melody. No matter how much I change there will still be that origin that I will recognize. The love that I have for ponies, which will always be a part of who I am. Before I branched off from rock to orchestral to electronic I definitely did consider that maybe this song should just be rock or should just be electronic. Would someone who listens to rock not care about the second half or vise versa? Despite that I decided to go with this because I wanted it to represent who I am and the type of music that I make. Also lowkey brought in the electronic drop so I could play it at conventions ahhhhh. You could definitely add this song to my series of “trying to be Foozogz” tracks, being Your Friend & Forever & Always. What all these tracks have in common is that it shares the same sentiment that as long as we have the passion and spirit for this community then it will never fade away.
NOW TO THE LYRICS OF THIS SONG. I’m not going to lie but for the longest time I wasn’t sure what the lyrics really meant. When I usually write lyrics it’s when I’m listening to the instrumental and just write what feels right and what makes sense. It’s only until then I uncover the emotions that I’ve written down. I vividly recall hiking and really pondering what the lyrics meant and the connection to this community. I went through every single word and how it connected to the big picture that I was trying to paint. Though, after looking back and listening to this song I can 100% say that I know what I was trying to convey with these lyrics. This is just my interpretation that could be taken differently by others, which is the beauty of it all.
The first line “And we’re bound until we cannot sense this moment,” to me means that as long as we live in this moment and cherish the memories that this community brought us then we will always be connected to it. We will be bound to it as long as we can sense the love that we have for it.
The next line, “Deaf until we cannot hear what's broken,” something that others would call “broken.” Is it really broken? Is this community really fading away? As long as we don’t believe that and as long as we don’t hear those negative remarks then we don’t be swayed by it. We drown out what others call “broken” with the love that we have for this community, each other, and the creations that are because of the love we have.
Then after that, mentioning that we might seem “lost,” because it seems like it’s all ending, yet we just need a reminder from our friends and the bonds that we’ve made to know that it’s not slowing, and it’s not ending. The love that we have for this community is so strong and the creations that we made are so close to our hearts that we won’t ever take the love, tears, and time put into it away. We’ve made our mark and we’ll continue to do amazing things.
Throughout this song I wanted to keep that energetic and uplifting atmosphere to show that we’ll always be moving forward together. There may be times where it seems like things are slowing yet within that there is still the passion and love that is building up, waiting to be seen.

Thank you so much for this. After I read this it really made me slow down, and appreciate this all much more. Before, I had added this song and others to a playlist, but never payed any attention to the comments. Your comment added so much to the listening experience, of this song and others. I think music is often overlooked for the story behind it and is only listened to for an instant feeling. This community does so much more than just that, has intensely recognizable emotion and depth, that will hopefully be around for much longer in the future, or even eternally.

One of my favorites off of Eternal. Truly encapsulates the ending of the show. Nostalgic, and memorable, yet also happy, and blissful. A true celebration for what we've all experienced together.
With these songs I definitely want to capture the love I have for ponies & this community, whether it be through lyrics, melodies, or the style itself. It's the type of sound and emotion that I really love & I'm glad that I was able to get this song out. Thank you so, so much for listening! Eternal has so much great songs on there that are so well made so I really appreciate the love that you have for this one. The adventures that we've all been through have been anything but smooth but it's something that I can fondly look back on and continue with that bond and love still present.

(It's also so awesome to know there are people out there who remember me from conventions like EFNW 2017 and stuff X3 I have great memories of going to those conventions and sometimes even performing at them. I definitely miss those times a little, but I'm glad I got the chance to experience them and to meet so many awesome folks I would have only known through the internet otherwise~)

This has definitely got to be one of my favorite tracks from you. You picked such good vocal chops- they're super pretty and heartfelt and fit the track so well! The entire part from 1:15 to 1:39 is just perfect and makes me really happy. So good. And the entire feel of the song is upbeat and hopeful and all around amazing. Absolutely love it )
