- Michigan certified mechanic and auto appraiser Jason Phillips inspected this classic Ford T bird for sale near Holland Michigan. Recommended by ELGA Credit Union, they like to see that their members are getting a solid car at a fair price. The car was needing a bit of service, but proved to be really solid otherwise.

My best friend's mom bought this exact iteration in '65. She was Top Dog with it.
Everyone was stunned by this car.
Nicest Landau I have seen. All the things listed could be fixed for $1500.
Someone is getting a nice ride.
No mention of the Silent Flow Ventalation System that vented fresh air under the rear window. It was a big feature.
Murphman76 - And YOU are the winner! You are correct, not sure why I said what I did, but you can see in the video that the big silver "DISC" is on the brake pedal! Sometimes I just say dumb stuff! Thanks for the correction, that's what I like about this format! Jason Phillips
She is beautiful looking i love 65 😍😍😍😍
Also noted you were driving in the first dot drive where you start in second and go to third. Normal drive is the second dot with circle, start first , second then third. Driving mine since 1967 so I know this car.
Duke Wolf I just bought one. All original, 93,000 miles. all bills fun as all get out.
Yes, you'll see somebody already mentioned that earlier in the stream. Still, it's a good observation! Thanks, Jason Phillips, Michigan auto appraiser
pretty thorough appraisal. thanks for sharing.
I have had a 59 convertable, and a 66 hardtop. Both were only a couple of years old when I bought them . The 66 got 8 miles city, 16 hyw had four wheel disk breaks. Both had great rides but handled like the boats they were.
I had two T-Birds. A'65 and a '69. The 65 was the coolest
Swing away steering wheel and sequential turn signals, five on each side and wrap around back seat etc etc. The '69 was just OK but nothing special.
So I thought my grandpaws was just the base model, but now I know it's the Landau ELGA
SWEET.
I though in 1965 it came standard with disk brakes up front?
+Robert Bryant no, not in 1965. Ford T birds I think made disc standard in 1967, but I'm not positive. Somebody....a little help??
+AutoAppraise I was just going by what research I've been doing. not sure how accurate it is.
+AutoAppraise ...sorry, but you are incorrect, they most definitely were introduced on the 1965 Thunderbird (along with Lincoln) as standard equipment. It was a big deal. If the car is restored correctly...you will see a stainless "disc" emblem right on the brake pedal that says"Disc Brake". No question about it...I've had my '65 T'Bird for 30 years now.
hello, how much are they asking for this car? Thanks
Hi Tommy- This 1965 T-bird Landau was sold for $22,500.00.
Is this car still for sale ?
Nice... I had a 58 years back... now looking for a 50s T Bird for my retirement if anyone has one for sale in the UK?
Are you guys selling this thundbird and if you are how mush I would like to know (Mathew Lee}. Would please send pride
Needs a few minor things fixed, but she's a beauty.
Ribbon speedometer
The transmission would not shift into third gear because you had the lever in the wrong position. I belongs at the large circle. The position you had
it in only allows the transmission to shift 1st. & 2nd. . No third. . . .
No it starts in second and goes to third on the small dot
