Sebastian seemed so genuinely touched by the reception he got there. Although he is very much American now, I'm sure that there's nothing like going "home" and reconnecting. Hope he gets to go again soon!
as a moldavian and my first language is romanian i hear a little bit of accent in his speech, but dont forget he moved as a child from Romania and he rarely speaks romanian
First he lived in Austria with his mum a classical train pianist and find love again and married to a head master of secondary who was American citizen and they moved to America when Sebastian was 10 years old. He is very close with his mum. He is a very nice person. Of course he speaks romanian he was born in Romania, Constanța. 1982
my cousins do the same with Hebrew. they're Israeli, and when they visit for the summer they wind up mixing Hebrew and English. we call it "Hebrish". they mainly speak Hebrew to each other because the rest of my family don't really speak it. we speak English. but they mix it, so they can teach us some Hebrew while they're here. we also speak Yiddish, which I love.
I'm Romanian. He speaks better than many others here. The fact that he said that his unfulfilled dream is that he wishes to speak Romanian again as before, or that he said he'd wish to go to Constanta the next day if he could (that's his hometown and it's by the seaside for those who were wondering about "the beach" dream) melted my heart. Such a humble man who respects where he was born even though he had to move away for a better life
To me it comes off as uncertainty with a language he hasn’t used in a long time. He speaks it excellently with few errors, and very polite, but I met the same sort of issues when I went back to Romania for an extended time for the first time in nearly a decade. I can still speak and be understood, but there’s the lingering fear of being incorrect and forgetting a word or two, then just defaulting to English, as it’s become something of a Lingua Franca.
Wow he's so beautiful and soft and intelligent. I love his eyes and he's so sweet when he speaks, it's so calming, his voice is beautiful. Thank you!!!
@costel13112002 I SAID: "It sounds like a gentler version of Russian" when it's SPOKEN. I didn't say: "Romanian sounds EXACTLY like Russian." Pay attention when reading someone's comment next time, thanks. 👍
Romanian language is latin same as spanish, french and italian. For example we have this words in Romanian that has the same meaning as in Spanish : casa, familia, te obliga. And there are more. As a Romanian I understand from this interview that he don't speak Romanian so good. For example some words he don't know anymore and reply in English.
@@tophottaboy5556 that’s awesome. All those languages are beautiful and sound beautiful too. It makes sense that he doesn’t know some Romanian words, it happens when you spend your time and live/work in mainly English speaking places with English speaking people. Thank you for this information.
I'm curious how his accent sounds to you :) He mentioned in another video that if he was going to do a Romanian film, he'd have to live there for at least a month to get his accent back so it made me curious how he sounds when he speaks Romanian to fellow Romanians.
I've always assumed maybe he didn't see much lf him growing up..i think they split when he was very little and he tends to mention his step-dad sometimes. But who knows maybe he does have a relationship in some way it's just private.

Finally some more Romanian interviews! Not that I understand a thing (maybe a bit, I'm Italian) but I like listening to Seb speaking his language!
Same omg I love it 🥰 I didn’t even know he spoke fluent Romanian until just now 😅

And in Romania they speak like that, the Romanians combine the Romanian language with English
The fact that his mom or his life can be a movie tho...they went through a lot
I love hearing him speak like this it's just so calming
Congratulations to his mother and also to himself for speaking Romanian native language, and learned to be proud of his heritage!

Hé s homesick liké all of us living abroad
interviews are so different in America lol. James Gordan wanted Seb to flirt with Sharron Stone and here they’re asking him about his life lol
james gordan im gonna cry
Europeans are more polite usually from what I noticed
WE have our values straight
Jesus Christ his eyes are gorgeous
:D thanks for this! I've never seen the first interview, so that was nice. He's so passionate about Romania, it's so heartwarming.
Idk why but this is something I needed in my life. He is so deep and thoughtful. It's incredible.
I love that he uses (like every not native English speaker) English words and phrases along with his native language

His eyes are breathtaking. He could read the phone book and I could listen for hours and hours.
I'm Romanian and live in England it's scary how it can slowly fade bc I never wanna forget romanian
Cred ça s sanse mici,e plein de romani in anglia😅
Mulțumim pentru videoclip! Sebi we love you and we are proud of you! From România send you love! Sebi suntem mândrii de tine!🇷🇴🇺🇲🥰

Respect bro pentru că n-ai uitat această limbă minunată!
I love his green leather jacket 💚
As someone who is of partly Romanian descent myself, I ❤ hearing Romanian spoken. It's like a gentler version of Russian.
Romanian is not even close to Russian
@costel13112002 I SAID: "It sounds like a gentler version of Russian" when it's SPOKEN. I didn't say: "Romanian sounds EXACTLY like Russian."

he wants to be back in europe so bad please i don't know whether to laugh or cry
Y'all can be sure he still speaks Romanian with his mom😊
thank you for this--I am so very grateful😊
Hearing him speak Romanian some words are close enough to Spanish that I can understand what he’s saying without the subtitles ☺️ I like the language

They are both Latin origin languages! As a Romanian, I can also easily understand Spanish without never studying it.
Thank you!
Stan's voice is like ASMR, i love it
I am from România .And I am sad that I can't meet him 😪
Same
Yes same problem

@@CezzL yeah he sounds romanian , like he is ok . Not that bad 😄
Why are these interviews so quiet🤣✨
I speak Romanian too and I was also born in Constanta and I came to the states in 2002
Him speaking Romanian is so fucking hot
I have now made the decision to start learning romanian on duolingo wish me luck
Succes!
Super !
Romanian is such a SEXY language now!
16:10 his reaction 😂
I wonder why sebastian never talks about his dad? I know that his parents are divorced but he doesn't have any relationship with his dad?
Didn't his dad die?
I've always assumed maybe he didn't see much lf him growing up..i think they split when he was very little and he tends to mention his step-dad sometimes. But who knows maybe he does have a relationship in some way it's just private.
Hahaha I’m half German half Rumanian and this is pure comedy 😌🤌🏻
