Bryant Wilson it took about 2 weeks, maybe a little less - though I live in the state of Montana which I believe is the least populated state per capita in the lower 48 with only ~ 1 million people. No way to get through by phone as it’s constantly busy even here, but luckily our online system has held up so far. @@jovonnareynolds7778 I believe I filed around the same time. Maybe a day or 2 later. You can check you your status. Download the irs app. It will tell what day to expect your return. And to check with your bank if you have not by a certain day.
Jay R if you have a joint account that probably best. Idk I put my own account even though we filed jointly. They IRS sent our tax refund earlier to that same account. So to be on the safe side if you have it do it👍🏾

If you are a student, and living with your parents, even though you file a tax return, your still a dependent. She can definitely claim you. However, if you live on your own and she isn't supporting you, theres an issue. You didn't give much info.

Indeed! The only thing(s) that should prevent someone from getting it is you've been claimed as dependent, you earn too much money or you have an outstanding child support claim! If none of those three things apply, it should be approved!

I guess the IRS was able to get direct deposit information from the banks used by tax services because my bank account was listed on the portal. The deposit was dated for 4/15 but my credit union deposited it on 4/14.
Wells Fargo offering 3-months straight up deferment. Paid at end of loan, no additional interest. Just taking the present value of 3-months of payments and putting it at the end of the mortgage. It may depend on type of loan you have (captive vs. Fannie/Freddie) and state (CA and NY more protection for mortgages).
My wife and myself received ours at around 1am this morning, we didnt enter anything nor request anything on any portal or website so they are sending it to the account you filed your taxes with the only thing I didn't receive was for my 2 daughters as they dont meet the requirements I've been reading which is sad but I hope all of you receive something during this time be safe and take care ~

Hence the confusion being caused for many trying to claim this stimulus payment. So just remember if your child or eligible dependent is 17 or over you cannot claim the stimulus dependent payment for them. is what alot of websites are saying so our girls are over 17 and not currently students this year so since we didnt receive their $500 each when ours came in I started looking it up and this is what I've found not sure if its 100% just have been reading diff websites -Good luck all !

Called Fannie May and they are not currently giving a option to add the payment on to the end. Only option given is loan modification , extended forbearance, pay lump sum they told exact words “fake news” on adding payment to end of loan. So many people are going to get screwed. They did say that as the weeks and months continue they may have a alternative to paying back forbearance but currently those are the only options.

I filed my 1099 2019 taxes beginning of February and I did use direct deposit. The IRS took my “owed” money off the direct deposit I provided on March 16. Tried to check the portal and it said I was providing wrong information but then I was putting info straight from my 1040. It was also saying my 2019 was still being processed.. the portal definitely needs to be worked on
Just went to check and for some reason, they said they didn't have my direct deposit info. Had to add it manually even though I added it when I filed. I sent an email to my tax filing software to ask why the IRS doesn't have the info.

Question Kevin: I am married and filed only for 2018 including with my daughter (1 dependent). 2019 taxes were not filed yet but I have a son now. @@unique96099 The payments are worth up to $1,200 per person or $2,400 per married couple, with an additional $500 going to parents for each child they claim as a dependent who is 16 or younger.This age limit to get the dependent stimulus check is much younger than what is used by the IRS in the qualifying child test where a child must be younger than 19 years old or be a “student” younger than 24 years old as of the end of the calendar year. Hence the confusion being caused for many trying to claim this stimulus payment. So just remember if your child or eligible dependent is 17 or over you cannot claim the stimulus dependent payment for them.
is what alot of websites are saying so our girls are over 17 and not currently students this year so since we didnt receive their $500 each when ours came in I started looking it up and this is what I've found not sure if its 100% just have been reading diff websites -Good luck all !

*ALERT* I was told, on the IRS website portal, do not click "I owed" (After trying to submit it will read, info doesn't match IRS) unless you owe the IRS. Click "I received my tax return" then input bank info.

Called Fannie May and they are not currently giving a option to add the payment on to the end. Only option given is loan modification , extended forbearance, pay lump sum they told exact words “fake news” on adding payment to end of loan. So many people are going to get screwed. They did say that as the weeks and months continue they may have a alternative to paying back forbearance but currently those are the only options.

I filed my 1099 2019 taxes beginning of February and I did use direct deposit. The IRS took my “owed” money off the direct deposit I provided on March 16. Tried to check the portal and it said I was providing wrong information but then I was putting info straight from my 1040.
It was also saying my 2019 was still being processed.. the portal definitely needs to be worked on
Just went to check and for some reason, they said they didn't have my direct deposit info. Had to add it manually even though I added it when I filed. I sent an email to my tax filing software to ask why the IRS doesn't have the info.

Question Kevin: I am married and filed only for 2018 including with my daughter (1 dependent). 2019 taxes were not filed yet but I have a son now. I only recieved stimulus money for 3 out of 4 people (wife, myself, daughter). They did not include my son who was born in 2018 since I didnt do my 2019 taxes yet. Will they compensate me the remaining $500 on my taxes, etc? Thx
