Why's that?
A WiFi docking station... I think the only thing left in my house that is not on WiFi is my toilet. Coming soon I'm sure.

I think you missed the testing portion of this, where you actually connect it to a computer and devices and we can see it actually working as a dock. The format, cadence, and look of the video was very good. I was really just waiting the whole time for the docking review part of it that never came... Hope to see more in depth videos in the future.
Plugging it into our MacBook on camera would be cumbersome and useless considering you wouldn’t be able to see anything except “oh it’s charging”. If it didn’t charge, we would have mentioned that in the review so that wasn’t really something that’s needed in this video. Everyone knows what a dock does. Most people have never seen a smart dock, so that’s what we showcased! Maybe some other reviewers showed themselves plugging in cables 🤣 who knows.
@@Slimothy Except that in practice docs have tons of issue, mainly when more than 1 monitor comes into use. for a single monitor attachment docks are relatively the same but once you begin adding more monitors, devices issue arise across many docks. Testing actual use cases is a valid argument in this case.
@@RickyT15 Testing is a real use case. Testing on camera in a studio where space is limited is different. If we had encountered issues, they’d have been brought up in this video.
@@Slimothy yeah, sorry, no. You should definitely test a dock, if you do a video about it. Does it support 4k/60 Hz, which is the maximum resolution, how fast is the Lan port in reality? How does it behave with maximum ports in use, does it output 90W etc. pp..
And also "it works as promised* would be a great result.
