Your review SUCKS! I bought these three flashlights from Costco and in addition to the AA batteries it also came with rechargeable battery compartment that charges with a USB to USB-C cable. My only problem is so far, and I’ve just got it and opened it … I can’t figure out how to insert the rechargeable battery compartment into the flashlight. I had come to your channel in the hopes of figuring that out but quite frankly, my friend your review is totally incomplete and I’m sure by now, unless you threw them out you would’ve realized that there is a rechargeable pack there that came in the same white package that the AA batteries came in. Maybe you should review your products first before you put out a video and understand how it works. OK … now to finish your review for you. In my package there was included three rechargeable battery packs along with three USB two USB-C charging cables for the battery rechargeable packs. All I had to do was to remove the endcap where you placed your four AA batteries and then pull up on the cartridge that held these AA batteries and it left room for you to now. Insert the rechargeable battery pack into the flashlight. Screw on the end of the flashlight cap and voilà … you’re done! Your flashlight is now running off of a rechargeable battery pack thus extending the battery life more than what the for non-rechargeable battery will provide. I will admit that it took me a few minutes to figure out how to remove the non-rechargeable battery pack from the flashlight, but once I did that it was all easy peasy from there.
u r the 2nd one to say there are rechargeables when the box clearly does not say there are in the video. what is your item # video topic shows item# 1671629. I suspect u r Canada as Costco canada seems to offer other duracell stuff with rechargeables. yes I have the box in hand there are no rechargeables nor does the box say there are any. and I show in the video the white box contents. which I also have in hand.
Durabeam 1000 lumen flashlight sold at Costco in mainland China The packaging says it is powered by a rechargeable battery or 4 AAA batteries, and it also says it is the UK and Canadian version. But the package only contains rechargeable batteries, not AAA alkaline batteries
I have the same three flashlights. And they have been perfect so far. I work the graveyard shift in a tow truck. But mine have a sleeve that you can charge it.
Just bought 2 packs of these. I do not expect much battery life really, but at $5/each they will make great stocking stuffers for my kids. If I lose one…no big deal…
@bobspurloc item nmber is 171859, Duracell 1000LM Hybrid LED flashlight, 3-pack is the description. $36.99 Cdn after $8 discount plus taxes. Decent for a household flashlight.
Thats odd. I see you are Canada! seems you get better stuff! I see that item comes back as Famouse Amos cookies here. Famous Amos bite size chocolate chip cookies 42 count, 2 oz bags individually package Costco item number 171859
Its crap that it needs AAA batteries. Atleast they should have given option to use AA, or 18650 batteries. With AAA batteries it will be expensive to operate, if you use it regularly.
yeah thats what I figured. It looks like the pastic battery holder can come out. but 6volt is harsh 18650 cant deliver that so would only be like 700 lumens
Yeah I think because they are dead set on using their own batteries and needed 6+ volts to attain 1000 lumens they were forced to use a billion AAA instead of 2 lithium ION 3.7v batteries.
Cheers they have these here in the UK........ but I think they have or are slightly different and have a re-charge option. Here they're about £30, "ten quid" per tourch is good value. Again cheers.
yeah I been getting know it alls tell me it came with rechargeable pack when you can clearly see mine doesnt. I think CANADA costco does and now I see UK! I've seen other costco items where outside the US the item was better. I think we got dumped the older models

That's for the 1200 lumen model that Costco sells. this video shows the 1000 lumen.

I see the plastic sleeve comes out... was that offered with or after?

yup... does your store still have the 3pack 500+ lumen headset ones for $10?
@@bobspurloci did not see those when there
ah ok they are a crazy deal I was excited when they were $15 made a video LOL...
Where is your store?
Thank god you’re the first one to review this flashlight.
They sell batteries. They make money every 1.5 hours of use.
yep... seems they are dumping this old stock for newer ones that either have rechargeable batteries and easier ability to have...
Picked up these on sale at at Costco. They come with rechargeable batteries and cord for each flashlight as well. For the price they are good value.
rechargeable batteries and cord?? what is the costco ID# on yours?

1,000 lumens is to low. Flashlight now a days can go up to 120,000 lumens
especially if it's one on unregulated amazon where they are 1,000,000,000 Lumens
You really need more than 1000? Lol
Can you use it as a bike light? They have a new version that with type c and 18650 battery case.
dont see why you couldnt

Thanks for doing the video. Its crazy these flashlights use AAA batteries!!!

Because they want you to buy their batteries
I have always used recharhable AAA AA batteries.

I think I'll stick with the single Feit that uses a dual 26650 or C cells.
I found these on amazon for 30 for 3... definitely not buying if yall are getting them cheaper😂😂 thanks for the video
How do you turn them off
hold button in? or cycle thru the dumb blinks etc?
