Hi, I am from Western Australia. I watched the whole series in 2 days! I enjoyed very much. Its amazing to see the gaelic heritage so strong and very much alive. I think the the Irish and indeed the Gaels have a bright future with programs like these promoting the culture and keeping the Celtic sprit alive. Both my parents emigrated from Ireland in the 70s and have passed onto me their love and traditions including Gaelic football, some Irish language & music. Thanks Sean for sharing this.
13:17 - Stunning sunset! Wonderful series. Congratulations, and thank you. Combined a well-planned route with spectacular scenery and important cultural stops. Loved the closing music.
What a great series! Moran Taing, a'bhalaich! I lived on Lewis through my formative years and my folks are fluent Gàidhlig speakers. I love the lilt of the language!
Wonderful program. My grandparents spoke Gaelic. I was born in another country. I don't speak the language and I have never been to Ireland. But it's strange; I feel I understand what the handsome sailors and people are saying.
That is one beautiful boat they sailed on. I’d love to know if there are any plans for the boat in Derry and bring her home to Galway. There are wonderful renovations series on historic boats throughout the world and I’m sure if this project were taken on there would be immediately thousands of subscribers! It’s heartbreaking to see such a wonderful boat abandoned.

I loved the bit where they went to see the whisky facilities at Islay. It is interesting to see Scottish Gaelic and Irish meet in a conversation!
Actually he could not understand the more technical scots gaelic of the tour guide in regard to whiskey distilling

Never paint the interior of a wooden boat , at least that's what I have heard ? What a great piece of boating history !
Iontach! Thanks for downloading :)
Why would they have gone there, when it was out of their way?
A chara, ní dóigh liom go bhfuil leagan den sraith seo ach gan fotheidil agat? Ba bhreá liom é a fheiceáil gan iad
