This closed-off Christian girl that has close to nothing (doesn’t even have a high school diploma) grew up and became one of the most famous singers in the world. She’s literally become a household name. If that’s not inspiring, then I don’t know what is.

TBH., when Prism came out. & I listen to the playlist. I honestly thought international Smile, Legendary Lovers, & Birthday are such amazing songs it's true Katy Perry. Their so underrated
Disagree, International Smile sounds like 99% of Katy's songs released since 2010. Gives me greater appreciation for Madonna's inexhaustible, career long efforts toward reinvention of her sound with each album. Katy needs to stop copying herself, take a break from the "you go girl!" anthems, and find a young producer with new music ideas.
