Brilliant. This is a good lesson for communal activism. I am glad you guys made it happen. Congratulations. I wish you a long, successful journey in your marriage life. Have an astonishing celebration.
The wedding is really amazing ! Dubai jana lai badhai ra sukhad bhawise ko shubhakamana chha ! Newar ra Sherpako chhutta chhuttai samudaye ko nabhai malai ta laagyo eutai samudaye that is Nepali ! Stage Management dherai ramro dekhen.
Such a mesmerizing and elegant video to see. I have always liked Sherpas and their costumes, language, tradition and culture. We should know how much diversity we have in our country. God bless to both bride and groom. Have a peaceful, happy and prosperous life ahead.
Do Nepalis actually know how good their traditions, ceremony and clothes actually are? Since starting to learn as much as possible from some retried Gurkhas in UK Derby I just cannot believe how different and how amazing it all is to be at and see. I'm so glad I love all different food and when I was in Kathmandu last year I ate some Sherpa food and Newari of course. Thulo samman hajurharulaii ko laggi. BTW it was the first time I had ever left the UK at the age of 49.
Nepalis do know, and remember our life in Nepal with great love, nostalgia, and pathos even if we now live in the far flung corners of the globe. I lived in France, America, and Britain after bidding farewell to Nepal in 1982, and now have been living in China, of all places, for many years. But my love and longing for Nepal- its uniqueness, beauty, culture, and wonderful heritage never ever wanes. I have a wonderful memory of a young crown prince Charles driving in a convoy in front of my home when, ages ago, he visited my hometown of Dharan , a famous Gurkha recruitment center in Eastern Nepal. And now he has finally become the King of England. Thank you so much for being such an enthusiastic and loving friend of Nepal.
@@nurethappa2727 swagat cha hajur mero sathi. I suppose it was just a saying, I know you all know but its all normal to you all. To me learning and seeing all this now which I wouldn't know about in normal British life what I have seen is just amazing and beautiful. The differences in ethic groups is just fascinating and I often look thinking do they really know how good they look? I don't know it all but I do recognise the name Thappa as one of mero Gurkha sathi has that name. I'm going east next, around your area and Damak, Hile all around and further east to the hindu temple in the mountains to pray my thanks to Asian people and to Nepalis for welcoming me in and showing me another part of the world I never thought I'd ever see let alone be able to speak some. Ma Nepal miss garchu
@ that’s great, it was a saying maybe a uk thing? Well you know I’m saying it amazement of how good you all look. You know it’s do you know how good you all look? 😂👍🇳🇵 All the different ethic groups with dress and traditions that I never knew existed until I started learning about Nepal. I’d also add me and my wife have commented Nepalis are also a very good looking race. I laugh with my Nepali sathi haru how their skin colour is perfect and I don’t like my whiteness 😂😂 Even though it was winter when I went to Nepal last year in February I still got an amazing tan! Then I came back to the freezing cold and wet UK 😭😭 Waiting for the taxi outside Manchester airport longing for someone to just take me back to Nepal 😂🥰🙏🇳🇵 I’ve also found so much kindness in Nepalis and happiness when someone like me takes an interest just like you have done. Dhanybaad hajur
Oh, I thought Newaris are Buddhist but from this marriage video I came to learn that they are Hindus(Hindu way of marriage). Sherpas are Buddhist accordingly marriage ceremony was carried on as per Buddhist tradition.
Newa people are mostly Shakts and Shaiv, they follow culture and a way of life. Buddhism is followed of course but specifically Shakyas, Bajracharyas, Tuladhar, Tamrakar, Kansakar, Manandhar, Sayami are Buddhists.
Majority of Newar community follow both Hinduism and Buddhism. However, It is believed that Newars come from the Tibeto-Burman race. The craftmanship on most of those Stupas and temples around Kathmandu valley were designed and built by Buddhist Newar. Kathmandu valley itself is believed to be a Tantric city with hundreds of sculptures and sacred idols depicting Buddhism and Hinduism.
Such a union would celebrate the diversity of Nepal while promoting harmony and mutual respect.
