That's the big problem I have with the movie. Outside of Ralph and Vanellope, the characters were unmemorable at best and unlikable at worst. I hate the movie for that.
@@rommix0 i like Felix. His relationship with the girl feels kinda unnecessary, and serves no purpose in the sequel too. That's the part I don't like. But I love the first movie.

so glad you reacted to this one! Wreck It Ralph always resonated with me in more than one way; first, from the 80's video game and arcade days (when I became an adult), and having spent much of my stage acting career as a villain, I had my own "Wreck It Ralph" moment long before this movie was even thought of!

I've been watching a lot of your videos for the past months, they're enjoyable and entertaining, as someone who's struggling with medical stuff, your channel has helped me a lot and given me laughs ❤️
Saw this in the cinema the gamer in me clocked what was going on pretty quickly and to be honest the premise of it kept me in my seat for the duration it has some very goof core values and messages in it, and it was relatable to me as a gamer as well. Great film and one of those rare times when Disney took a good idea and made a great film, not constant reboots and equals and so on which seems to be the only thing they do these days.
I honestly think Turbo is underrated as a villain. He terrorised and antagonised a 9 year old girl for 15 years (that’s how old the game is) turning her own world against her and stole everything that was rightfully hers, including her identity and sense of belonging. He gave her the glitch which means she couldn’t even leave to mingle with other outcasts outside her game, so all she’s ever known her whole life is hostility without one person to confide in. He’s very cunning and manipulative, succeeding in diffusing Ralphs aggression using several manipulation tactics like real psychopaths are capable of. He’s very well foreshadowed without it being in your face, unlike other Disney Twist villains who reveal their True Nature out of nowhere and it’s played for shock value only. There’s a lot more to it and maybe he doesn’t quite meet the ranks of Disneys most iconic villains, but I think that’s at least partially based on nostalgia and he definitely deserves more recognition. (And yes, I have just come from Randomalistic’s incredible Turbo analysis video) :)
So happy to see a positive review of this! It seems like everything I see about Wreck it Ralph or its sequel are jokes. I've always felt like it should be in most Top 5s.

These days, I look at this movie and compare it to current Disney output and wonder what went wrong with Rat City. It is a measure of how clueless The Mouse is by the pancake-flat impact "Wreck-It Ralph 2" generated. Vanellope is/was a "Disney Princess," who didn't act like one, Ralph was a pure soul, along with everyone but "King Candy."
I gotta say this is one of my favorite Disney animated movies, I think it’s better than frozen. And if you’re planning on watching Ralph Breaks the Internet, just got to warn you it’s not very good. It’s not Mulan 2 bad but it’s not as good as the original. But who knows you might like it.
