I don't think the poster made the film, or claimed it to be authentic history. I wish the narrator noted how silly some of it is. You gotta watch most historical fiction with a whole heap of sand not just a grain. Braveheart is amazing. It's horribly inaccurate. Alexander was kinda dull precisely because they tried to be as accurate as possible. We know much more about Alex and his Greeks - and the Hellenistic age - than we do most of Europe from 476 until Alfred the Great. That's when this took place. Maybe it's a story that COULDVE taken place. Everyone loved that show Vikings. I thought it was kinda meh. And it obviously strayed from history. We don't know if Ragnar was one guy or an amalgamation of several. We don't know if he did half the shit he's known for. Chances are he did some. We know his sons were real. We don't know if they actually were sons of Ragnar Lothbrok. But they led the great pagan army and settled the Danelaw in England. Most English today have that Nordic blood from those that integrated into Saxon England. More Nordic blood poured in with Billy the Bastard, the French Northman or Norman. Though they'd been frenchifried a little by then. I just think it's interesting that the people that originated in Jutland and spread to Frisia, Holland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and England became the most dominant world powers. The Dutch, were the most powerful richest ppl in the 17th and 18th century. Then the English and French and Germans. All of those ppl form most of the ruling class of America for the last 200 yrs. So what was it about Jutland than made world conquerors? Now Northern Europe is filled with supermodels, high standard of living, high taxes, and a functional socialism
Read some history, there's awesome content in Christianity, and awfully corrupt foul church leaders. Just like currently the Zionists make a bad name for Judaism. Does that apply to all Jews? And it's good to see all the force the Church used to convert people. It was people like Saint Francis who showed the intended real side of Christianity. Sadly even today we have war mongers among the Christians? Is that the faith being wrong, or these sinners?
Highly unlikely, and you have no sources, except the enemies of the tribes or writers far aways from the actual tribes!
Watch it rationally without making any belief or other statements.
