The engine bay in this field-find 1960 Ford F100 was all sorts of disconnected when I got it into my garage. After removing the front clip and the original engine, this video is my efforts at trying to piece it all back together. Since this is my first big vehicle project, I'm relying on every resource possible.
In this video I'm able to get a lot of the gunky wires cleaned off, reconnect the ignition system with a new coil and starter solenoid, place the distributor and spark plug wires, put the carburetor on the intake, and reconnect the starter and generator.
Next steps: testing all the electricals to see if I got it all right!
I also talk about what videos are coming up next on this channel, so stay tuned to the end for that. Also, please consider subscribing if you want to follow my journey of restoring this 1960 Ford F100 that was sitting in a field for 20+ years.
