Hey Bro, I have connected the same, cpu and tv connected properly, as I have inserted aux cable as it is mentioned but there is no sound... Audio is not coming.. Wt 2 do ?
Use Headphones by connecting to CPU to check if you're getting the audio output properly. If no, you might be connecting to wrong port or maybe that audio port isn't working or maybe you need to change audio settings in your computer. Hope that helps.

Led Tvs have VGA port, you can connect CPU directly and avoid converter. For audio you can connect RCA to 3.5 audio jack.
most led tvs do not have vga port

I have a Samsung 43 inch FHD TV and I connected it with my CPU(CPU has only VGA port) by VGA to HDMI converter and one HDMI back-to-back cable. The Display shows good but the problem is it blinks after sometimes.

Cool bro.. but when i connected the tv i didn't get proper resolution.. i mean the screen is getting too small when i tried 1080p which is actual resolution of my tv..
So my kids t.v. broke and I'm trying to use my old pc monitor( no speakers) so I hooked up my monitor to our direct tv box via HDMI and it worked but I can't hook up my speakers cause there is no aux jack on the monitor or the direct tv box. Will this device work for that?

If you direct tv box supports AV connectivity then you'll just need amplifier for getting audio out using AV cable.

Brother i have the same 32 inch LG smart TV bought in 2016 but since mid 2017 nobody is using it so I thought of converting it into a monitor for my laptop so do I have to do all this or just connect hdmi. (I don't play games I just do programming on my macbook will I face issue regarding refresh rate)

Seems to be connection issue. Check if your cables are properly connected, earthing is properly supplied. Connectors are rust free, if not use wd40 spray.
