This might be an unpopular opinion, but I don't think Mattel is releasing to much JDM. I feel that some collectors think it's too many because it's something they don't like. Let's be honest over the past 50+ years there have been many diecast brands that have made many muscle cars, but no one is saying they're making too much and I like muscle cars.
I don't think there are too many JDM castings in the diecast world. Just way too many Skylines. Do we really need another Skyline? At the end of the day I don't loss any sleep over it. I just don't buy them.
Yes the blue Prince Skykine is the chase. I did get 1 in the 2 cases I bought. It’s not bad . I do like this set only because while I am so over the hype of jdm these are some new or less frequently done castings.
I agree there are no must haves but I will pick up the Levin and Honda when I see them. And when you showed the Inno version of the Mazda it really made the Hot Wheels casting look like dog crap in comparison! Thanks for sharing.
very cool castings, I like that they give us normal paint schemes even the race cars are in classic racing liveries. Does there have to be a "banger" in the group? I prefer normal japanese domestic cars. thanks for sharing
IMO this years BLVD sets have been way better than any car culture release. I’m hoping this improves with the last few releases of the year but even then I think only 1 or 2 cars from each set really are of interest to me. We shall see. I know I plan to keep buying them cause I’m sick!
I really like the new Prince Skyline very much. It is part of my own top 10 cars from Hot Wheels. They made a really good job with the casting.... but it is my opinion.
It's sad when 20 year old Konami is better made than modern HW premium. It's sad when nice casting is let down by terrible printing and toy looking wheels.
The JDM shit is just super annoying already, it’s kind of like popcorn. Everyone likes it, but if you add too much salt, it instantly becomes nasty and offputting.
Very cool castings championdjk

Problem I have with premium JDMs is very limited number of car models. Mostly same cars over and over again.
JDM sells. lol they wont stop.

I seen this set on the pegs I passed great video so far !
So far this has been my favorite CC mix for 2024.
They are decent casting, the two Hondas are worth picking up…thanks for posting
I need more, because there are many Japanese Historic cars yet to be made.
The matrix kills it for me matchbox been doing the same with there stuff
They should look at Majorette, they can Show them how to do proper Decals for Toycars.
I agree with you.
Nice hotwheels 👍

Which one is your favourite Z casting from Hot Wheels?

JH3 is my absolute favorite ! this one is decent...
I left them all on the rack yesterday

Got the two important ones on Amazon for msrp no hunting required
Not everything what called PREMIUM is really Premium. 😉
Seems like every time you open premium Hot Wheels you have a paint chip or blemish of some sort!

Agreed!
Only bought the Corolla Levin and Fairlady Z. Only ones I liked.
I can’t even read the emblems on the cars. It’s so atrocious, no other diecast brand would get away with this. :(
👍🏻✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
I'll buy it because i already have JH1,2 and 3 but its nothing special.
I got enought JDM Hot Wheels, so it needs to stop
In short... no.
do we need anymore japan historics,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,says the guy who has 123 786 123 square body chevys

stop just stop

Anything Honda will be hoarded,,period.
JDM craze is getting played out. I prefer American muscle or updated casting of muscle cars
This set is uninspired as is the artwork.
Hot wheels “premium” is a joke😂
