how have the magnets in the sunex impact 1/4"s held up? considering getting a set but don't want to end up with a socket set and a collection of magnets falling on the floor.
I have the same set labeled under Cornwell 'blue power' in 1/4 they have been fine. I did supplement the 10mm with a snap-on magnetic deep. The magnet is much more powerful, and a more robust socket, however its my go to 10mm for everything so whatever thats worth, the 8, 7, 12, 14 sunex have held up fine with daily use.
Thanks for the tool box tour, I need to get me that Lisle harmonic balancer extractor socket. Do you mind providing the name of that white funnel in the oil container? Thank you
For doing alignments across all Honda models, would you say I need two of the same size metric wrenches to perform toe, camber and caster adjustments or one of each size wrench would suffice? I’m a Honda tech myself and will be learning how to do alignments soon. Thank you for your time.
@vanquishstorm3806 for alignments the most common sizes will be 14, 22, sometimes a 19 or 17mm wrenches for front toe and rear toe would be basically the same. Some models don’t have adjustable rear toe (like the HRV) and many times camber is not adjustable without installing a kit
@@maxsmoviechannel2025 Thank you for your reply as its much appreciated. For the most part than, there alignments are more or less "toe and go"? For models that use the 22mm, 19mm and 17mm, would I only need one of each or two 19mm wrenches for the rear toe adjustment etc.? Are there any models that use a 24mm wrench? I'm sorting through all my tools and seeing what else I may need. Thank you!
Hey buddy they have saved my life in a few situations! Can’t beat them for the price. $60ish. For the 1/4 I fully recommend the gearwrench impact swivels. Thanks for watching!
Yes, 2 years of trade college, then I got 2 ASE certifications and then was hired into a dealership. It may not be necessary, however, I highly recommend it, because working in the dealer you will come across certain things that will only make sense if you went to school for it
@@maxsmoviechannel2025 Im really thinking about it! If you dont mind me asking how much did you get paid when you first get hired on? also did they drug test you?
@@cloud-ny5ux the pay will depend on a few factors, did you go to school, how many ASE’s etc. They’ll start you more than likely as a lube tech. Pay will probably just be average, not going to lie. In that time you just make sure to learn as much as possible and always help out. When you move to a line tech position is when the money gets much better
Broooo I worked at Starbucks for like 6 years when I was younger. I would hate these super specific drinks haha and now I am my own worst enemy so to speak lol 😂😂😭 but for a drink this specific I’ll go inside man. Don’t want to run up the drivethru timer. Thanks for watching!

Well rounded selection of tools. Honest comments. Cheap boxes with quality tools. What's not to like?
I agree it’s whats inside that counts, thanks for watching!
Matco doesn’t make tools
Look at guage size of Harbor Freight and look at guage size of others. Harbor Freight's are thicker.
@@DK-bm5rg I was looking at the 56 inch hf box as a step up from what I have man
At the end of the day what matters is what’s inside the box

Thanks my friend!
I've been a Honda tech for 30 years , that's a good set of quality tools , good to see not much Harbor Freight shit 👍
Thank you for watching brother
Harbor freight wrenches and sockets can't remove any nuts or bolts
@@Mustangg16 yes they can lol 95% of my sockets are snap on except my 3/8 impact sockets and I have no issue using them
@@level5599 what's a snap on ratchet now, 1/2" about $150 lol. Insane
Dude I have a 1/2 flex head snap on, about 18 inches? Cost me 350

fun to work at
It can be fun for sure
maybe i missed it, but do you have a 1/2" torque wrench and if so, what is it?
Hey my friend, I only have a 3/8 torque wrench so far, it is a click style by Gearwrench, and it works very well. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tool box tour, I need to get me that Lisle harmonic balancer extractor socket. Do you mind providing the name of that white funnel in the oil container? Thank you
A lot of people asked me about that funnel! I’m not sure of the name, but it’s made by Lisle also! I think it’s called the 90° funnel
@@maxsmoviechannel2025
Awesome, thank you! Just found it on Amazon, Lisle 17232 Right Angle Funnel.

That alot of tools. You can work on a honda with a small amount of tools. I do.
Dope setup but didn’t see the classic right angle impact RACHET lol
I actually was thinking about getting one but I think I am going to buy a pmeumatic right angle impact instead! More power! Thanks for watching bro
Man your tools are clean lol. Especially the grips on your ratchets. Mine look terrible
I try to keep them clean but mostly its just me wearing gloves and cleaning the gloves constantly with brake clean until they rip haha
Why are you filming so close? I feel like my head is inside your box lol 😂.
Curious what you have invested overall? What's common for a mechanic now a days to be current in the trade?
Probably all in, around 17-22k? I have more tools also they just won’t fit in my box
I love you
How do you like the Astro universal sockets?
