JB weld light activated worked for me. It was SO easy. My samsung diffusers with not fitting tight, and superglue did not hold after 12 hours. The light activated was sold after 10 seconds.
i just did my 50 " samsung and it works perfect ....thank you !!!...on mine you could see the burned out lights....also turn your backlights down to like 15
I have the UN65J6200AFXZA-IH02 model, but I don't see that on the compatibility list for these lights. Closest version I see is the -AH01. Are these lights also compatible with the -IH02 version?
@@DanielBjorndahl Turns out mine clip in and you have to release them from the other (back) side. Naturally you have to remove both boards to get to some of them. I broke two of them trying to get them snapped back in, but there are plenty and it does just fine without them.
As someone who constantly works on TVs and from what I can tell, being subbed to your channel, knows the ins and outs of all the major brands. I have a quick question for you, if you were looking to upgrade your 51" Samsung PN51E7000 Plasma 3DTV and you want at least as good of a picture as that w/ HDR at least what would you recommend?
If you look at the bottom, there are 2 holes at each corner. I used a small screwdriver to slightly pry up on it then used a guitar pick and went around the whole panel. It worked like a charm.
Just replaced the back lighting for this tv although 55" and now i see white lines across the screen. i am thinking i got the light diffusers reversed when i put them back as i did not use tape to tape them together prior to taking them out. They are not small white lines it looks like you can see the led strips through the lcd . Help anyone?
So I did this repair but now I have a vertical lines up and down the middle of the screen. I see the "no signal" scanning on the right hand side of the screen but not the left. what did I do wrong?
@@KnowNotNo_I Lol, I'm just gonna get a new tv. Might try pulling the old one apart down the road, but I don't think I'll order any parts until I see what's behind the screen. Best I could find was $100 for 2 horizontal style LED strips and the whole thing will actually need 6 so bare minimum cost will be $300....plus shipping. Plus I'll prolly just fuck it up and chuck it all out into the trash.
The tabs before getting to remove the reflector sheet are not twistable - it seems like I’d have to break them in order to get them off. It’s a Samsung UE40H5500. Any help? I don’t want to break them all off!
Hi I have a Sanyo dp50747 plasma tv. The screen will be working fine the randomly will start blinking off and on as if between scenes or between commercials. It does this at random times and I haven't found any common situations that could cause it. Totally random. It will start blinking very fast then slow down and sometimes stop for a minute in between blinks. And then sometimes it will be fine for hours. I don't get it. I would so appreciate any advice. I'm very handy with electronics but this has me baffled. Thank you
It's really not that bad. Once you get one finished you'll want to go looking around for more to fix up it's so rewarding. I flipped a TV I found in the trash after replacing backlights made a cool 200.00

How do you know it's the backlights or the part that sends power to the backlights?

Hello . Please does anybody know where to find strips for a 65 inch curved tv.

Mine too. I haven't pulled it apart yet, but were your light strips vertical then instead of horizontal like in all these videos?
