Finally, a recessed screen on a budget priced Casio! Too often, the lower priced models do not have recessed lenses or even have the lens being the MOST prominent thing on the watch, which is just begging for scratches and dings.
I would say it has more to do with where you live. I don't have problems with negative displays because Greece has a alot of sunny days, but yes i also prefer bigger size digits on a negative display.
Got a W-219h last week.Loving it so far. I got the positive display one and it very legible.

Can confirm. I own W219h and its display has less scratches than my newly bought MRW200h.
Casio w-219h is the most underrated watch of Casio it feels like younger brother of G-Shock almost identical.
This is a such great in-depth comparison review. The W-219h will last many many years of use thanks to its rugged, durable design
The versions with negative screens are nearly unreadable at a glance. Highly recommend only the positive screen models.
True, not everyone likes negative displays.

It's a great "light duty" GShock.
This.will be standard soon. After 5 months nothing to complain (dont take negative display)
the little display of G shock is ridiculous. too small
I seen they released one with naylon strap which looks lovely
That model does look good.
casio says its glass ?
Useless comparison. No real-world test. No durability test. Waste of time.
