We talked about everything, they apologized, I’ve accepted their apology, and now we will work to move forward in a positive manner. I was distressed when I heard about the incident happening. The Cosmo (Thanks in part to YOUR reviews) became one of my favorite hotels in Las Vegas. One over-zealous or poorly trained employee can ruin the reputation of a hotel. I am glad they made it right by you as I was prepared to never go back.

I finally purposely subscribed to a RUclips channel today (yours). Blame any others on the drink and accidentally clicking. I was actually booked at the Vdara...had free rooms because I gambled at an MGM property while going to see a hockey game back in Feb (The Prez of my previous employer owns the Las Vegas Knights). Hearing what you went through bothered me deeply. I had already heard about the Meek Mill incident. I won't look down on the hotel because of an individual's bs, so I'm getting that wrap around suite instead as a treat for myself...I need that terrace and view. I fought a major car maker for 7 years but didn't back down. They just settled out of court with me. Unfortunately person who I initially had problems with was a black man who sold me the car, and plus the company failed to do their part. It took awhile, but the company seen things my way. Glad you stood up for your rights and they took action!! Cosmo, here I come!!

Cosmo is a nice hotel but seems like the staff start mess with black folks. Ever since we started protesting for equal rights and stop killing harrassing black men and women, it has gotten worst and the true colors of the closet racist are coming out left and right. That man literally tried to set you up and end up in a stand off with LVPD over a cell phone in your pocket. So dirty and sickening. So sorry you went thru that experience but glad you spoke up about it because in reality this is real life.
Laura Nonette it was a very bad situation that could have gotten much worse, but it didn't and I'm very grateful for that. I am giving Cosmo a second chance because I've stayed at their hotel almost a dozen times over the last few years, and this was my first bad incident with them (as serious as this was). And after this incident, the rest of the staff I encountered were very polite and nice as they typically are from my experiences, without even knowing what I just went though; which is also why I was willing to hear them out before making this a bigger issue. But I spoke up about this because I wanted everyone, even Cosmo, to be aware of what happened and to see what happens when you make a wrong assumption out of poor judgement

Good. Confusing a cellphone with a handgun is ridiculous. Every guy has a cellphone in his pocket since we have nowhere else to put it when not using it. Let us know if this kind of stuff happens again, thanks.
