- Being the smartest one of the group comes with many downsides, as Purah is about to find out through a certain pair of birds.
Anyone else think Tulin is just, one of the most adorable things ever? If anything happened to him, I’d kill everyone on the earth, and then myself. That’s how much I truly do love him. And I hope he was able to be presented well here (despite his short role).
Da Dude returns once again in a brand new role, this time headlining as the magnificent Revali. As soon as I thought of this idea I was like “Yep, Da dude has the perfect voice for this, he’s my Revali 100%”. And that turned out to be completely true. Amazing as always, and pleasure doing business with him.
Of course the magnificent Carrie continues to be a great and perfect sounding Purah in my opinion. She excels in all her roles, and I’m very happy to work with her. She’s great.
And we can’t forget about the supreme Aki, who continues to thrive when it comes to pulling off little child impressions. All her voices are so adorable, and it’s a delight to listen to them, and work with her every time. Thanks a ton girl.

@@JustAGoatwastakentry a century, cause revali is in the memories at the beginning of botw, rito live shorter lives than their other humanoid counter parts, and the memories of botw are 100 years before the gameplay. If the elder is 50 or something, tulin might be like 10? Generationally the elders grandpa might have met revali but you might have to go 3 generations back instead.

@@shadowsa2b BotW and Tears is a part of the WW continuity, unless Nintendo changed the timeline again. They had originally said that BotW takes place in all 3 timelines which pains me to this day cause there's no canon reason why that makes sense

purah was about this age during the events before the calamity, reversed her aging during the time of BOtW and is back at this biological age during TotK. So it ABSOLUTELY makes lore sense. (also tulin might have gotten a vision from his ancestor)

I was kind of hoping it was going to segway into Purah explaining that the Rito are actually an evolution of the Zora caused by a continent-drowning flood and Revali refusing to believe a massive increase in the size of the ocean would cause a species of fish people to evolve into a species of bird people.

Explanation:
The first scene was a flashback to the time before the Calamity, when Purah was young and Revali was still alive.
Revali, in his distress, never told anyone, and only ever marked his hidden grave with the forbidden knowledge.
The extra scene was Post-TotK, in which Tulin discovered the unholy markings.
Revali's really gonna flip when he finds out that he's actually the next evolution of Zora
First Revali, then Tulin, sooner or later every Rito in the village will have an exstistensial crisis

I love how true to the characters all of this is. Purah’s innocent yet mature sense of cluelessness (despite being a super genius) ravioli being… Him. And Tulin being a raving, flying meatball who forgot he has a brain up there. I’m just happy there wasn’t a guest appearance by Cassandra again, she really brings down the mood 😢
Revali isn't that far off. The rito are the evolution of the zora. As said in wind waker. They were wiped out of the ocean, and eventually evolved into the rito
