Background:
During Covid-19 lockdown I had a lot of time on my hands and so decided to use it constructively to completely transform the look of my 13 year old car which had started to look old. I'm a hardcore gamer with Need for Speed being one of my favorite games right from childhood, specially NFS Underground 2 in which I would spend more time modifying cars than driving them. It had been my dream since then to modify my own car but it got sidelined over the years as I got busy with responsibilities that come with growing up. In this series I finally make my childhood dream come true!
In the entire series I have performed every modification all by myself without anyone's help and explained the procedure step by step which makes it purely DIY (do-it-yourself) for the benefit of the viewers who actually want to learn or who just want to avoid a trip to the accessories shop in these uncertain times of the Covid-19 pandemic where social distancing is necessary.
All items used in the entire series have been purchased online and delivered in a contact-less and safe manner.

Haha yeah…it gets that way when dirty water seeps in during the rainy season. The engine bay was cleaned later on!
Aaj koi samajhdaar video mila hai, baaki videos me koi chunnu bhaiya wire split kar DRLs laga raha hai, and unfortunately these idiots are getting lakh of views. Keep up the good work buddy. using fuse taps is the wisest thing. One more thing, just look at fuse box inside also and u will find a fuse with drl written on it, put ur fuse tap on that. That's the right point to put.
The connection and all I understood but how to connect the left and right side of the drl the fuse box is so far ? Hod did u fix the 2 drl nd where ?

Yes, no problem. But I would suggest k dono ko parking light k saath connect karo, kyu ki headlights on hone k baad sequential light zyada notice nai hoga. Sequential lights n DRLs together on will look good.
bro can drl using fuse tap can make a switch?
So if I find an empty socket i will hv to hv a fuse for what its controlling and a fuse for the drl? No chance just one fuse will work for drl fuse tap?
If the socket is empty, you don’t need a fuse for it. Just one for the drl is good.
I have a car which has empty relay and fuse sockets for the DRL. Recently I got angel eyes installed and I want to use them as DRL. I am planning to get proper relay and fuse for those empty DRL sockets to activate it. Can I just tap my red wire to lead pin of that fuse and black to some bolt, or I really need that fuse tap adapter? Is everything I described even a good idea? Thanks man and a great video!!
Better to use a fuse tap rather than connecting the wire directly into the fuse socket. In case something goes wrong, the fuse will go off, protecting your DRLs. I believe the fuse will be much cheaper to replace than the DRLs.

@@caesar.1an I have shown the connection in the video pretty clearly. You insert both of them in the slot at the bottom of the fuse tap and then press with a plier to secure.

You can install a thin led tube in the headlights, but you will have to open up your headlights with the help of a heat gun for that.
Did you use 2x 7.5amp fuses on the fuse tap?
No, upper fuse 5 amp for DRL and lower fuse 7.5 amp for oil level sensor.
Hi guys,so for drl(2 positive joint together)we always use 5Amp is it correct?

How you managed to close the fuse box lid??
It didn’t fully close from the side of the fuse tap, but it got locked in place from the other side so it won’t fall off. Also, no water can go in since the top is properly covered. If u want u can make a small cut on the side for the fuse tap wire to pass out without blocking the lid.

can i connect my foglights like this ?
Yes you can, but then they will always be on. So I suggest you to connect the wire to the headlights so they turn on with the headlights. You could even install a switch in the circuit n put it in the cabin to put them on/off as required.
thankyou so much preet bhai i just purchased my volkswagen virtus and looking to install foglights , want to avoid to many wires from the car so i found this fuse method a good option i dont have any issue if they run like a drl as i am installing a led bulb in , i need one more suggestion that will this be a good option or you can suggest me something better
Congratulations Aditya for your new car! Since ur car is new, this is the best option as you will not be cutting any wires so it won’t affect your warranty.
