      Brilliant, that will be hard, 15 balls in half a table is super tough for me.. Next step.. you are not allowed to hit a cushion either.

      @@JB-yf4nh not allowed to hit the rail on the rail shot?

    • @JB-yf4nh
      @JB-yf4nh 2 года назад +2

      @@genipool no rail shots, the set up will have to be different. Our warm up drills are 6 then 9 then 12 balls in half the table.. not allowed to hit another ball.. or allowed to hit a rail.. or allowed to go past the middle bags.. we usually always fail the 12, it takes a few attempts. usually set up big circle, sometimes lines.. just whatever really. I suppose a monster effort would be 40 balls full table. Maybe 2 large circles in each half with a square or lines in each circle.

    I remember setting up drills like this (though I've never gone as high as 45 balls - that's pretty impressive). As an added challenge and for some variation I would play one set using only top and roll-on shots and one set using only stun or screw back shots. I started out with just an eight ball runout along the rails and as my skill improved I added more balls. A solid hour of really concentrating on drills like these is more tiring than many would realize, BUT, I could not believe how much my game improved in as little as 90 days. Very nice and clean runout and a joy to watch.

      @@tesha199 Best advice I ever got from my coach was to place at least one mirror then set up a drill from the opposite side. With every shot, check your stance, your form, how you address the ball, your aim etc etc. Today I can comfortably run out 90+ balls (from triangle + break-shot) by this single thing, a simple mirror.

    The drill procedure is to restart whenever contact is made away from the intended shot. This attempt was improperly done, with play that aligned better with "Let it go" than the hype you had playing. Turn your shaft smaller and get a harder hitting cue/joint/tip. We can hear deflection on the far english shots.

    tried some drills like this with 15 balls, the first few are pretty easy, it gets difficult once you make the first few and then got less options to play position, so you need to be more accurate. Well done!

    That would be a great drill for developing and mastering cueball control. I wouldn't have guessed it to be such a challenge if you hadn't included the mistakes you made at the beginning of the video.
