Loved watching this Jane! Did you make the spell books and the viles yourself too? I love the way it has all come together, my nieces would love a Halloween spooky house to play with!
Thanks! I got the tiny books and vials from the craft store. Part of the fun is finding things to put in the house. Kids always seem to love this house. I think it stirs the imagination and isn't too scary.
Of Course Ara Bently of Bentley House Minis is the uncrowned queen of the miniature world (can't believe I nearly forgot the person who got everyone else hooked!)
Enjoyable video but don't use superglue on dollhouse windows as it can fog up acetate. Its better to use UHU or E6000, whatever. You have a lovely dollhouse and some great ideas❤ I will like and sub because theres always lots of crossover in the crafting community and sometimes its nice to watch other artists because they often have ideas you wouldn't have thought of and techniques that can be utilised in miniature making. Double sided tape is great, I wish I could have prevented your superglue disaster, thats what I mean about different ideas from different areas of crafting, its always worth watching other artists to get fresh ideas and knowledge. If you like miniatures, Little Gretchen's workshop, Queen City Minis and Tiny Keyhole minis are some great places with super talented miniaturists that are well worth having a look at.
Yes, you are right and thanks for the tip. I think I knew that it wasn't going to go well and indeed it did not. It all turned out ok in the end. I agree about crossover in the crafting community - I love to learn new tricks and and techniques! :)
Nicely built Story Book cottage by Greenleaf.
Thanks for letting me know about the maker of this house. It really is a beautiful miniature. :)
