- Washington DC was so fun! We went LEGO shopping all around the region and even came home with an incredible new set for the LEGO City!
Welcome to weekly vlog #5! The LEGO Store Pick-A-Brick wall is something I love checking out whenever I travel somewhere new. They're all usually pretty similar, but sometimes stores will have amazing pieces! We went to two different LEGO Stores up in the Washington DC / Philadelphia area (mini road trip!) and found some awesome parts that will come in handy when working on our LEGO City! I'm also planning ahead to something spooky in the LEGO City in October - stay tuned for that!

You guys are in my hood! That’s the lego store we always go to. Also, the large damaged box sets for 6500 points IS great because that’s $50 cash back AND you still get the normal 5% back as well. So you are double dipping.

The spiders will be great for a spooky forest to go with your Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion. I could imagine a Scooby-Doo and the Great Spider Caper.

All the Walt Disney stores in Australia closed when we asked why they’re closing their attitude was you can go to America and come to our farm park instead

Well how cool is this, I found another Lego addict here :) Yes I'm a brick builder.. and I don't care how many candles are on my cake! lol I loved them as a child then a few years ago the Lego fire was rekindled. Hehe, safe to say I don't have nearly as many sets as you guys do :) Just got the Diner for my bday and it's super awesome. Your hubby/boyfriend seems like a goofball and I mean that in the best way :) What an awesome trip. I'm a Philly boy, born there too, currently live out here in PA Amish country. Hope you enjoyed the food. I love cheesesteaks..without the cheese however LOL. Never had lobster Anyway it's wonderful "meeting" you!

I used those 2 stud clear sloped pieces around my pond at the edges so the blue base plate shows underneath, works great.

The reason that the Disney store is closing is because they want to be a more online shopping company so a lot of Disney Stores are closing. Including all but 1 in my state. It’s kinda annoying
When we went to DC, we stayed at a AirBNB behind the Capitol building and walked to everything. One day we walked all the way to Arlington Cemetery and back. It's been like 4 years, and I'm not sure if I've still recovered from that.
Also, the fact neither you or Ross came up with the "Escalator temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience." line when you were at the broken escalator tells me you're not familiar enough with Mitch Hedberg's comedy. Please work on that. :)
