Hollywood Boulevard was closed down a few blocks for the annual Hollywood car show you see all different kinds of cars low riders classic cars hyper cars cars for movie sets like back to the future. You seen the new cyber truck and doing that car show the Los Angeles fire department showed holiday , open up a car that was in an accident with metal scissors and electric saws. The car show was much better than I anticipated.

I live on the East Coast now, but California has the BEST custom paint jobs I've ever seen.
GIV: You need to get yourself a classic car. You'll have so much fun going to the show and meeting people. It's a really a great hobby.
My dad restored classic cars as a hobby for many years. His favorites were '55 and '57 Chevys, and he also restored a 1942 Oldsmobile that was a DREAM. It was a beautiful sparkly dark green color and had enough room in the back seat to set up housekeeping! He'll be 80 next month so he's stopped now, but I went to many a car show in the 80s when I was in high school and college. They were fun.
He should, even if he doesn't know much about fixing them, the classics are much easier. He could get an old chevy, they have so many common parts, he could afford to do the restoration work. I think he would be good at car restoration, he makes a lot of cool stuff. I'm 53, have muscle wasting from progressive ms, and bought a 54 m38a1 jeep willys to work on to try and strengthen my muscles and balance, plus i ain't doing a wheelchair. If my broken behind can do this, i think anyone can.

He did, and he didn't do like some people do and give every detail about the car, he just went from car to car showing us the really cool stuff. The paint and interior on those bright multi colored car's were nice. Of course you would have to do that to those car's, because most auto enthusiasts wouldn't have looked at them with a stock color and interior. I like some car's restored to oem, and then there are some that look good modified. I didn't see any rustomods out there, don't car to much for those, I've seen a couple done well with it still being sound. You never know where the GIV is gonna go.

At 4:52...I saw a hot rod like that at a car show....it had a Lincoln V-12 engine installed in it, not a normal hot rod V-8...........I never knew Lincoln built V-12 engines...wikipedia V-12's were built from 1936 to 1946.

Even if low riders are not your thing, you have to really respect the amount of work that goes into those cars!
Insane amount of work and attention to detail! I like them for that reason, there is always so much to look at, even underneath.
Love the cars don't understand why they destroy them by bouncing them off the ground.

I used to do the custom pin-striping and hand lettering for classic cars like these. My friend did the custom paint jobs.

Thanks Mike, i love classic car's, and there are some nice one's at this show. I'm restoring a 1954 M38A1 Jeep Willys, and it's a lot of work. I'm working on getting it running first, then comes the body work. Thankfully it's not been road titled, was bought back in the 70's or 80's from a governot auction. It's crazy taking parts off that are 70 year's old, still had the original brake shoes and drums.
I was just thinking about the guy using the sawzal on the windshield of that car. I thought why would you cut the windshield out while they're still trying to get the person out by removing the door. The GIV, had me wondering for a second. I appreciate all the video's you make, there's always something interesting going on day or night. G-d bless.

Hey GIV... The car that Sonny Crockett drove in Miami Vice was a Black 1972 Ferrari Daytona Spyder 365 GTS / 4 replica not a Corvette. I applaud you for honoring the Corvette as i have the pleasure of owing my second one. The Corvette would have been a nice addition to the Miami Vice arsenal. BTW , I enjoy watching all of your videos and I wish you continued success.

We had some fun cars..my uncle’s tbird, an old car and another fast car. My husband had to sell them back in the last economical crisis. I was always afraid to park the tbird around other cars anyway.
These days a paid for gas friendly car works fine.

As someone who owns a classic car (1971 Plymouth Duster 340) and attends quite a few car shows here in Ontario , Canada i agree with GIV that at many of them they blast the music way too loud . Some gorgeous cars at this show . 👍🏼
So people 200 years from now can see how people lived on average.

Yes, that song German said was loud is called; MONDOLAY. The best song ever back then. Heard it first around 1980. And still today is requested even at weddings receptions. I know every song I heard. You all missed the best dancing era ever back then.
