  • Suleiman Turned His Back on Hurrem | Magnificent Century
    Hurrem is appealing for mercy.
Magnificent Century Episode 96: • Magnificent Century Ep...
Seeing that the documents she seized are fake, Hurrem realizes that she was trapped. Suleiman who does not want to believe what is happening, calls Hurrem to Edirne. While everyone is sure that Hurrem will convince Suleiman, his decision shocks everyone. In the palace, the wedding preparations of Hüsrev Pasha and Hatice begin. Hatice is after İbrahim's grave. Shah Sultan, who learned what happened from Nigar, wants to prevent his brother from reaching the grave.
Prince Mustafa takes action when he hears of pirate attacks in the Mediterranean. Mahidevran warns him of the danger that awaits him. However, Rüstem tells everything to Süleyman. Very angry, Süleyman orders immediate action to be taken. Hurrem wants to provoke Lütfi Pasha against Shah Sultan. Shah Sultan approaches Rustem, who is left alone. She wants him to take Hurrem's life. Otherwise, it will be his own life. Rustem, who is stuck in a corner, makes such a decision that both his own destiny and the destiny of the empire will change.
The golden years of the Ottoman Empire come to life in a television series. The life of Suleiman the Magnificent is preparing to be a guest in your homes in all its glory. Get ready to experience the era with ambition, love, wars, and all the struggle.
Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

I think Suleiman is fully aware of all Hurrem’s deeds, the good and bad ones. But he loves her so much, he’ll forgive everything. It’s so stupid of shah not to realize that so far.

I think so too. I like how they know eachother so well and know also that the other is not a saint. Not like other relationships, for example Hatice and Ibrahim, where Hatice thinks that he is a saint and did nothing wrong, or her sister Beyan and her husband 😅

i feel like Hürrem and Suleiman are equally matched in how grey their moral character ist. both have done good, selfless things and both have been cruel and callous too. i like this scene very much, because its one of the few acknowledgemnets we get in this series of how he knows that she cando evil things if its necassery. and still, he forgives and loves her as a whole package.

I think the best part is that his poem is saying how even though she’s his queen forever, she’s evil.
He’s telling her that he KNOWS she’s poisonous, but he loves her regardless of it…. Because let’s be honest, as much as we know Hurrem did almost everything she did to secure her future, and though we know she was created by the cruelty she faced from those around her, the woman had become quite toxic. Very chaotic neutral of her.

      @@annstillwell730 reread what I said.
I acknowledge everything she did was for her kids. I never said Mahidevran wasn’t her own brand of evil. I’m simply stating that despite everything she did, she was still a bit toxic. Even Suleiman knew it and he STILL went to her.
You can acknowledge someone doing things in self defense while acknowledging they have become toxic themselves.

Suleyman never said she was perfect or blameless. He even tells Fatma that Hurrem is no saint but then again no one is BUT she had absolutely loyalty. She never wanted to replace him while he still sat on the throne. She did not even want to live to see that day happen. Meanwhile Ibrahim gets full of himself starts saying he controls Suleyman etc, Mahideveran and Mustafa's wife plans rebellions behind Mustafa's back which gets him executed. They were victims to their own ambitions and used Hurrem as the scapegoat for the problems they brought on themselves. Hurrem played the game to survive and keep her children alive. She offered up her life many times to prove her loyalty. She even gave Valide a chance to execute her after the horse incident. Loyalty absolute loyalty was why he always forgave her along with genuine love

The only explanation is because i believe strongly that hurrem must have used the services of syaiton through magicians or sihr. What seemed logical became illogical and stupid. That explains why ottoman has gone bad after. The king took the blame most of all. His unjust actions would surely come back to him in the hereafter.
