Honey don’t ever wish to rush your life! Old age will come so fast you will look back and think to yourself what the hell happened and how did I get here so fast. I’m 65 and it seems like yesterday that I was your age. If I had it to do all over again I would take the opposite path than what I chose many times. I regret not standing up for myself and letting a man determine what I did. I only was trying to protect my children from possibly going hungry or anything bad that could have happened. Live your life to the fullest dear and have courage (unlike me) I’ve learned now I should have loved myself as much as I loved my children. I just wanted to give you insight from an older woman whose life passed her by so fast she wishes she could go back and change many things that I was too afraid to do. Have fun, love deeply and demand that you are loved just as much. Peace and blessings to you 🕊️❤
Yes, 60 comes up quick! But, as a grandma, I can say that grandkids are about the best thing ever! The idea of sitting on a porch in my rocking chair, knitting, with my grandchildren around me is a lovely one.
Awh, now 65 is the new 50 =). Plenty of time for adventure. I'm close to your age and my 102 year old grandmother teases me about how she still cuts her lawn and no one can stop her =) . Thanks for sharing!
The sacrifice made for one's family makes such a great difference in thier lives. I believe that it is THAT SACRIFICE that holds society together and if the shift away from that continues it will have a chain reaction of consequences that will literally lead to the downfall of our civilization and greatness. What you did in my opinion is the most respectable honorable praise worthy act of the highest importance. You should at minimum be VERY proud of the strength necessary to do that and for the VALUE it truly is for EVERYONE! THIS action should be looked up to as the highest achievement ....and respect given to the highest degree. I don't know if you believe in an afterlife or not but i think you will not regret your decisions during final review 😊

I was born in Spokane, WA and then moved to Alaska, and then to Seattle, then to Maui and back to Seattle and back to Spokane to finally settle in New York. Your videos bring me such peace. Isabel , you could add a bathroom to your tiny home. Toilet waste can be plumbed out to a holding tank behind bathroom. Bath tub with a wood stove heating your water, draining to holding tank. You can get tank at (Tractor Supply Store) - Big fiberglass (YELLOW) tank. Heating tub water ( watch RUclipsrs [Jake & Nicolle] ) live off grid. They have a HOT TUB heated by a outside wood stove. Watch the episodes of them operating the heating of HOT TUB. Same concept for your indoor BATHROOM TUB,but on a smaller scale. Show your Dad and see if he could come up with a similar concept on smaller scale. Isabel you can have off grid living with a few city home conveniences. A small balance. You will extremely appreciate a bathroom attached to tiny home,that could be put between tiny home and studio building. Win-win. Just a suggestion from a fan of you and Logan. Things in life are always possible, our brains are the driving force to succeed. I enjoy your videos and hope my suggestions help ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS. Winter is all about retreating inwards, restoration, and dreaming in the seeds that will we will sow for the coming year. Remember to enjoy the process! Don't wish your life away. Enjoy your youth while you have it. Every stage of life has something wonderful to offer but don't rush the stages. Those brownies looked delicious. I used to embroider when I was young. It is a very relaxing hobby. I also used to knit and loved that too. Who knows, maybe I will take them up again.

Ahhh, Seattle, my old hometown. You make me so wistful, recalling how deeply rooted I was there, before unavoidable family issues took me away from there. I've been living in exile in coastal Alabama since 2017, which is the absolute polar opposite of the Pacific Northwest, in every way imaginable. Logan, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. You guys, I absolutely LOVE your videos. Your story telling is always a warm dose of sanity and calm, and your film making skills are deeply inspiring. Keep it coming! Maybe someday I'll get back there, and say hi to you at the Pike Place Market. I lived two blocks south of there for years, and I miss it so much.

I've been nurturing this fantasy of putting a nice guitar in Logan's hands, and watching him and Isabel draw a big crowd at the Market, busking their musical collaborations. Logan is a pure genius musician. Something to dream on!

In Carnation WA, there's Tolt Yarn & Wool that offers knitting classes, and circles. In the summertime they offer them weekly in the evenings at our local park by campfire. Each person just brings what they are working on, a beverage, and enjoy the campfire and company.

You should look into an outdoor wood burning furnace to heat water for bathing. My aunt has one that heats water for her whole house. Endless hot water.

You will have to evaluate how it feels to go home to the tiny house. Some of the hard things are good, like an outside fire to cook bread. But being with people in knitting circles is also good. Sometimes I wonder if you and Logan have thought out where you want to live out your life? Are you on your parents land because it's free or you love that region and way of life? Would you like a life that was more country than city, but had hot baths in it? That had stores closer in it, that had your vehicle in the driveway all winter in it? You are making money, have you ever thought of moving your tiny to someplace closer to civilization for a change. Making other films? Your young, this is the time. When kids come the routine is needed, baths are needed. It's wonderful to have kids when your a bit younger,be a younger nana as well. Thoughts xo

If you ever want to watch a super old vintage movie Gone with the Wind is an amazing movie that still holds it’s timeless value in cinema. The costumes are so worth the watch too. I named my daughter after the character Katie Scarlett O’Hara. It’s so cool you’re finding fun things to do in the city. Washington really is a neat state. Knitting and cross stitching is a great skill to learn especially in the winter. I remember when I was younger feeling that same way about getting older and grandkids. Lol such an old soul Isabel, love it. Course when you get to my age 47 you start wondering now how many years do I have left on this wonderful earth. It is a true blessing the wisdom and clarity that comes with getting older especially on what the true importance in life, really is. Yes! People still knit and crochet, as well as sew and even macrame is making a comeback. I think they're all wonderful skills to have! I'm sitting here crocheting while I watch your videos. I'm learning how to knit..I know _how_ to do it but I'm not very experienced yet. Look up amigurumi! I think you'd love that. I also recently started doing hand embroidery and I love it! I made costumes for years so I can sew, but I never did anything by hand like that before.

Full Bathroom, running hot water, electricity, central air/heating. Is she choosing to use the outhouse, no central heating for recreation? Is it a sustainability exercise?
I've said it before, you are so talented. I love the fact that you MAKE things and give them as gifts. I crochet and some recipients don't seem to get the fact that it takes time and allot of love goes into homemade gifts. Keep up the good work and tell your Mom I LOVE her stove. It is awesome!

Isabel , you could add a bathroom to your tiny home. Toilet waste can be plumbed out to a holding tank behind bathroom. Bath tub with a wood stove heating your water, draining to holding tank. You can get tank at (Tractor Supply Store) - Big fiberglass (YELLOW) tank. Heating tub water ( watch RUclipsrs [Jake & Nicolle] ) live off grid. They have a HOT TUB heated by a outside wood stove. Watch the episodes of them operating the heating of HOT TUB. Same concept for your indoor BATHROOM TUB,but on a smaller scale. Show your Dad and see if he could come up with a similar concept on smaller scale. Isabel you can have off grid living with a few city home conveniences. A small balance. You will extremely appreciate a bathroom attached to tiny home,that could be put between tiny home and studio building. Win-win. Just a suggestion from a fan of you and Logan. Things in life are always possible, our brains are the driving force to succeed. I enjoy your videos and hope my suggestions help ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS. So happy that you get to spend the winter with your family, and that you finally have the opportunity to take a little break from the farm/homestead life. It can be a lot. Don’t feel bad for resting - rest is a sacred action, and all of our ancestors would have been doing the same now that the harvest season has fully come to a close. Winter is all about retreating inwards, restoration, and dreaming in the seeds that will we will sow for the coming year. Remember to enjoy the process! I used to embroider when I was young. It is a very relaxing hobby. I also used to knit and loved that too. Who knows, maybe I will take them up again.

Ahhh, Seattle, my old hometown. You make me so wistful, recalling how deeply rooted I was there, before unavoidable family issues took me away from there. I've been living in exile in coastal Alabama since 2017, which is the absolute polar opposite of the Pacific Northwest, in every way imaginable. Logan, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. You guys, I absolutely LOVE your videos. Your story telling is always a warm dose of sanity and calm, and your film making skills are deeply inspiring. Keep it coming! Maybe someday I'll get back there, and say hi to you at the Pike Place Market. I lived two blocks south of there for years, and I miss it so much.

In Carnation WA, there's Tolt Yarn & Wool that offers knitting classes, and circles. In the summertime they offer them weekly in the evenings at our local park by campfire. Each person just brings what they are working on, a beverage, and enjoy the campfire and company.

Oh I totally understand you ! Me too I love getting older ! People who are afraid of that don't appreciate the real beauty of life: knowlege and experience. And with these two paths allows us to give more than when we are young!!
You will have to evaluate how it feels to go home to the tiny house. Some of the hard things are good, like an outside fire to cook bread. But being with people in knitting circles is also good. Sometimes I wonder if you and Logan have thought out where you want to live out your life? Are you on your parents land because it's free or you love that region and way of life? Would you like a life that was more country than city, but had hot baths in it? That had stores closer in it, that had your vehicle in the driveway all winter in it? You are making money, have you ever thought of moving your tiny to someplace closer to civilization for a change. Making other films? Your young, this is the time. When kids come the routine is needed, baths are needed. It's wonderful to have kids when your a bit younger,be a younger nana as well. Thoughts xo

If you ever want to watch a super old vintage movie Gone with the Wind is an amazing movie that still holds it’s timeless value in cinema. The costumes are so worth the watch too. I named my daughter after the character Katie Scarlett O’Hara. It’s so cool you’re finding fun things to do in the city. Washington really is a neat state. Knitting and cross stitching is a great skill to learn especially in the winter. I remember when I was younger feeling that same way about getting older and grandkids. Yes! People still knit and crochet, as well as sew and even macrame is making a comeback. I think they're all wonderful skills to have! I'm sitting here crocheting while I watch your videos. I'm learning how to knit..I know _how_ to do it but I'm not very experienced yet. Look up amigurumi! I think you'd love that. I also recently started doing hand embroidery and I love it! I made costumes for years so I can sew, but I never did anything by hand like that before.
