As a karate instructor, also Kyokushin, and former competition fighter, I can only say, that this day must have been incredibly hard and exhausting. Teaching 3 classes, which is the daily max even if you don´t have to prepare for championships, is exhausting by itself. Daizo has my respect!.
Who's watching this in Dec 2023? I mean it's people like him, videos like this that inspires us to be the best that we can and achieve as much as possible within 24 hours. He's doing it all - being a dad, cooking, coaching, training, fighting championships. All with a happy smile and such a positive attitude. Congrats to Daizo on his win and his win with a wonderful family life that supports him. He seems like a very genuine man and I appreciate what he is doing for the people he trains. I loved karate growing up. I wish I would have kept it up but it wasn't feasible after my mom passed. Maybe I'll get back into it someday.
