omg this definitely helped me with my tanjiro cosplay ! im pretty young cosplayer, and my body is pretty slim and small , so making my own outfit was a better choice ! anyways thank you so much
Me encanto muy buen trabajo , aunque me hubiera gustado ver el uniforme completo confeccionado y ver como le quedó pero excelente trabajo, yo también me animare a hacer uno cuando tenga materiales . 💖
Alex Ananikian Hey, thanks! What I used is: - 2,5 meters for the black cotton fabric (just to make sure I have enough of this black cotton fabric) - 0,5 meter for the black tricot fabric - 1 meter for the white cotton fabric ( I also used it in part 2) If you have any other questions just let me know! 😁
I'm thinking about making my first cosplay to cut down the costs so thanks for the video! Can I ask around how long it took you to complete sewing the entire uniform?
wowww this is so cool. I'll be cosplaying Tanjro and my friend will be nezuko, thank u so much for the tutorial it's really helpful and looks like the real clothes.
The S3mel Hey good question! You can use polyester as an alternative. I wouldn’t recommend to use chiffon because the fabric is to slippery and you need a thick fabric to keep that shape in the pants.
Thank you so much for this! Due to the Covid-19 virus buying anything online is such a risk for me since I live in India. And thus, sewing my own costume is the best choice atm. Your video has done wonders for me! Thank you and keep on doing such amazing work!!!
Hi! I loved this tutorial and plan on making my own Demon Slayer cosplay using this tutorial. I’m a young Cosplayer and have a tight budget, so how much fabric would you recommend for a 5’3 skinny male? I don’t want to but too much and end up with a lot left over but I don’t want to have to run back and forth to the store every two seconds. Keep up the great work! :)
I’m making my own uniform cause I cant afford one already made, I don’t have access to firmer fabric to poof out the pants so they seem very slim on my legs.. Any way I can air them out more without totally remaking them?
Yubi Jae I used Creotime textile color for the symbol. I used it a couple of times and it doesn’t fade because, I used 2 coats. I hope this is helpful! 😊
AHHH HI, SORRY I KNOW THAT I'M LATE BUT CAN I ASK YOU A QUESTION? How did you measure and cut the sleeve? I don't know how and ended up ruined by costume 😂
The destroy symbol on your back was a bit too big, I would have made it a bit smaller and the lines a little thinner so it doesn't look as puffy. I love this, Im using this for the pants
This is really helpful but im a bit confused with the collar? sorry im kinda dumb but like how did you do that? All you said was you cut out the shapes but I'm a little confused on what else you did so if you could explain in a bit more detail that would be helpful if not thats fine too I can figure it out probably
Hey hey, I’m very sorry that this part is a bit confusing to you. So basically when you have the collar and the jacket, the right side of the collar and the right side of the jacket have to face each other. The collar has two lairs. The black fabric and the white fabric. So when you sew it on the neckline the black fabric of the collar has to be in between the white fabric of the collar and the jacket. I hope this helps, if not please let me know! 😁
Thanks! And I totally agree with you about the music! I didn’t know what to do about that to be honest, so I just choose one and didn’t pay to much attention to it haha! But thanks for the feedback! 😁
Thank you so much! Uhm maybe if you search the symbol on the internet and if the screen is big enough you could use some tracing paper and trace it maybe? And if the screen isn’t big enough maybe connect it with the tv? Idk 🤔🙈 That is the only alternative that I can think of sorry. 😅
For my inosuke cosplay i just used a pair of like blue long socks i had and they worked pretty well, but an idea i had was maybe get white furry fabric and dye it the right colour use elastic to keep it on maybe. I hope this helped :D
Thanks ive been searching for a traditional Japanese uniform tutorial for a while,
You’re welcome!
omg this definitely helped me with my tanjiro cosplay ! im pretty young cosplayer, and my body is pretty slim and small , so making my own outfit was a better choice ! anyways thank you so much

Hi! This is so helpful but can I ask a question? How much fabric did you use? In inches or meters. Thank you!!
Alex Ananikian Hey, thanks! What I used is:
- 2,5 meters for the black cotton fabric (just to make sure I have enough of this black cotton fabric)
- 0,5 meter for the black tricot fabric
- 1 meter for the white cotton fabric ( I also used it in part 2)

Yairzhino thank you so much!!

Doro Oehhhhhh Awesome! I think I could finish it in like max 2 days. I let the paint dry for a day just to make sure it is fully dried. 😁
wowww this is so cool. I'll be cosplaying Tanjro and my friend will be nezuko, thank u so much for the tutorial it's really helpful and looks like the real clothes.
Looks amazing and I'm excited to try this out myself but I cant seem to find any tricot fabric any alternatives?
Thanks! Maybe if you have an old black T-shirt you kan use it for those parts. Cotton jersey or maybe spandex could be used as well.
wow is perfect! Wish fabric do you use?
Damn thank you so much for this! It's really helped me make my costume better!!

hi, with what other fabric can this cosplay be created? (with Chiffon can it be done?)
The S3mel Hey good question! You can use polyester as an alternative. I wouldn’t recommend to use chiffon because the fabric is to slippery and you need a thick fabric to keep that shape in the pants.

What paint did you use? Mine was terrible and ended up fading in fabric all the time when it dries
Please tell me. How much fabric was spent on the jacket and pants. How many meters should you take for about a height of 160?
a question, there are no templates for the jacket? good video
Thank you so much for this! Due to the Covid-19 virus buying anything online is such a risk for me since I live in India. And thus, sewing my own costume is the best choice atm. Your video has done wonders for me! Thank you and keep on doing such amazing work!!!

I'm most interested in the pants, anyone know the name? I love that "baggy thigh, slim shin" look
I think it’s similar to cargo pants

Thanks! And I totally agree with you about the music! I didn’t know what to do about that to be honest, so I just choose one and didn’t pay to much attention to it haha! But thanks for the feedback! 😁

Just a quick question, for the symbol, is there any alternative technique for terrible drawers ?
Thank you so much! Uhm maybe if you search the symbol on the internet and if the screen is big enough you could use some tracing paper and trace it maybe? And if the screen isn’t big enough maybe connect it with the tv? Idk 🤔🙈

podría poner los patrones y las medidas?
Will the paint come off if it's put in the washing machine? Or is there a specific type of paint you use :'0
zqmine draws instead of buying normal paint, try buying some type of fabric paint. Then it won’t get washed of in the washing machine.
What is back later name
