Lisa, I'm an English Education major and I have read Doerr's book for my Themes in Literature course. I don't know how old you are, but your presentation of the book makes me feel that you have received literary analysis training. This is the first RUclips channel that I come across that actually does the job of looking at a text beyond the surface level. Thanks.

Wow! You slayed Literature Classes. I'm a Filipino, and I've just finished reading the novel today. All I can say, it gripped me and swept me away. All characters were introduced and threaded into the ending seamlessly. I sighed after reading the whole book, like damn dude, she survived the fucking Nazi war and the evil gemstone. Thank you for this. It reminds me I am not alone in the world reading this book. Should be read by all!
0:54 this is just a little nitpick but I think it's so funny that you gave Marie-Laure light blonde hair she gave Werner dark brown hair. His hair is described as being so light that it's almost off putting! It's basically white

I am actually at 300ish page and still not interested because the plot is pretty boring and the words are written in a very extensive vocabulary which is pretty tough to go a little fast and finish this huge book like any other one. When I started, I thought it'll be similar and enjoyable to the novel 1984, but it was completely different.
