Wow the impression I get from Starla is that she’s talented. One question I did have: sometimes at the walk it looked like she was having stiffness/tenseness and I thought it looked a little like she would tense up when she got anxious? I like her though!
Id say you start with calf and increase intensity until you get to spur if the horse is not responding to your whisper, then your ask, then your tell/demand. It's more so to encourage the horse to "wrap" around your inside leg to correct counter bending and keep them shaped in the direction they are traveling.
Every mare I've had was extra distracted when on season
I’ve only ever had this problem with geldings, personally
Let's see if I can get her attention without her bucking me off 😂❤
I know that feeling 😂
She would be a lovely dressage prospect.
Good job Tim. Thank you for video Tim & Melinda.🤠😎
Good job staying in the middle Tim. She has a nice extended trot too
How do you feel about rapid transitions when they're not focusing on you? That seems to work with my mare.
Might work just make they are quality transitions.

That is resistance.
@@timandersonhorsetraining resistance to bending or forward? Thanks for answering I’ve been working on reading horse body language better
When you say "right rein, right leg" what do you mean by leg? Is it simply "spur" or is it more inclusive of thigh and calf?

Can you train being distracted out of them or is it just a battle the whole time?
You can train it.
❤❤❤
Just checking but I think her back fetlocks look swollen?
Doesn't look like a QH
