Such an amazing universe, perfect combination of oldfashion-ness but at the same time a hint of more sci fi aspects but still not too much sci fi and all in a gritty environment with awesome planes and also light hearted. So would have loved to live in this universe.
I never understood why there was so much hate on this game. I'm guessing it kinda ruined the realistic side of crimson skies, but I don't mind that at all. I like both released games and it gave me such a great youth. I still have so much fun playing this game over and over and over again, because the concept and story just fascinated me.
Axicity ikr, when young, I nvr understood what was going on but it was real severe and Von Essen was pretty much a man who thirst for power.. Never got the terms like kinetic energy or the plans. Looking back, man the story is really great, even now coming back to see the cutscene were great with the OSTs especially. New games can't hold down the old era of games. Music is so stuck inside, you can hear a short portion and you rmb the rest. Games now are so shallow... Components that make this era of games are just there to fill the shell
Most players back in the day, didn't even get past the Arxio chapter... And, that's sad because, the game does get much better. Especially once, you get to Chicago.
For whatever reason I voice-acted the lab break-in cutscene to myself, but with Arthur Morgan as Nathan and Dutch van der Linde as Doc Fassenbiender, and it works too well
Adapt this story with Nathan Fillion in the lead role this instant. Movie or tv series. Live action or digitally animated. And. A sequel game. Or at least a remix adapted for Xbox x!
This is story of Crimson Skies High Road of Revenge that takes place in the alternate 1930s after World War 1. In the Crimson Skies we’re alternate 1930s there was no World War 2 in Crimson Skies and in alternate 1930s there was a new era where people can fly Planes, Air fighters and they still drive cars, bus and trucks. And the states were divided in USA.
This and Sky Captain were so much alike. I would love a sequel. Not gunna lie, this game has better animations than a lot of modern games. Andromeda cough cough.

A lot of the _hate_ came from the sex, and other adult content in the game. Despite that being real life stuff, and mostly of the era.

I thought they were going to remaster this a few years ago and it just never happened.
You missed the cutscene where the Pandora shows up at Sea Haven and wrecks the radio antenna.
