During the orienteering event, Nozomi tries in vain to get Kyouya to become a playboy like himself. Kyouya tells Nozomi that there is hope for him still, because before he met Erika, he was just like Nozomi.

I'm really glad he was saying "I'm quitting I can't do this anymore" like he's clearly stating that he already has a girlfriend. because he could've just said "I'm sorry, as i just said I'm not feeling well, so i won't kiss you cuz u might get sick" and keep the cool image of him but nope, he chose to stay honest and loyal to erika
I really admire Kyoya for wanting to be kinder and more honest towards Erika.

Don’t worry guys I’ve watched the full anime, SPOILER kyouya really changed his character alot, and he cares about erika a lot. Hes not as mean as he was in the last couple episodes.
This is my first time watching the anime but I agree with you because in the manga he became sweeter and more gentle

The anime does him a disservice because he's a completely different character in the manga. There are a few more details of his character that show that he genuinely does care.

See guys? Kyouya is not bad. Yes he was toxic at first but he changed. So please watched until the end first before saying this person is bad etc. I love Kyouya so much. People just have to give him some times and chance until he learn to be a better person.

see this is why I couldn't like harem tag no matter gold the premise is.. kyoya leave me a very deep impact,, I was fine reading those kind of tag at some point because I have huge appetite for action shonen premise, but kyoya just break those habit apart.. Now, It pissed me off every time I check out a new series and found that tag on the genre list,, well that's just me,,,
Toxic relationships are a no no. Never settle for good enough cause in the real world guys don't change and fall for you. Despite knowing the truth, if at least in an anime we get a female who makes her narcissist fall for her. It's a delusion but my inner teen feels validated even if real life shouldn't be that way.

I don’t understand why ppl are calling him toxic from the very first episode ..is it just me who neither read the manga nor know the synopsis of this anime ? Whatever it is …from the very beginning i don’t find him toxic ….as I come this far of this anime I can’t get some ppl calling him toxic again and again …by reading some comments I get to know that he is not that type in manga as he is shown in anime as well as his character development is insane …..despite not knowing that from my pov he was never toxic …by watching carefully you can notice how he changes his facial expressions when it comes to only Erika …deep down he really cares for her …I protest to abide by the cheep thoughts of everyone who even without reading the manga or judging the anime carefully continues bad mouthing about a guy like him ..wants to add a little info ,his past is nearly opaque to us in this anime but I beg to ppl for reading the manga just to see how thoughtful and respectful,understanding Sata is how beautifully their relationship develops ….at the end he is a good husband and father …people will think me as a big brained but I am on the side of him and writing a paragraph sized comment just for him because I don’t want this beautiful character to be hated this much that he doesn’t deserve …lastly I was ,am,will say I love sata …not every man have to show that he is down to earth for the person he loves ..something is better to keep personal rather than showing off …try to think by replacing you with sata ,what will u do if you have a traumatic past like sata kun …think before you speak …love you Sata kyoya🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼I know a huge amount of people can explore Sata now …
