Yoooo!! Hope everyone is staying safe and you enjoyed this video of the smaller line, this was filmed pre covid-19 if anyone was wondering ive not been up the trails for a couple of weeks now which is a pain...BUT id rather people be safe and get back up the woods for a session in the future. Look after yourselves, much love!
Hi! i was wondering.. the dirt looks pretty sandy, is it? if it is, do you ever use cement or concrete to mix through the dirt to make it firmer? i found this semi-urban spot to go dig a couple of jumps but the soil is very sandy..
daliks nah man we have used concrete before but you need so much of it, we didn’t use enough and it’s just created a big scab, the best thing for us we are finding is to use loads of water and sun ( if possible) that’s sets them off pretty hard .. also the whacker plate certainly helps get the foundation hard too ✌🏼
That’s insane what you’ve done up there. I used to ride up there about 10years ago, bike to millbrook station get the train to Woburn sands bike up that hill. Great videos also bro 🙂

@@KIINGOFSPADES for sure looks awesome. I have no jumps here but would like to build soon. I'm on the opposite side with crazy heavy clay . Super sticky, holds water forever then begins to crack before it's even dry. It packs and hardens nice but the chunks, rocks and cracks are not so easy to work with. Gotta make do. Keep on digging brotha.
Kevin Park ahhh for sure man yeh clays great because once it’s there doesn’t need as much maintenance, wet em up and make some clay paste and trowel the cracks... once that’s gone off wet em again lightly then dust em with some fine dirt with a broom or something 🤟🏼

Digging through rock hard clay and a thin layer of topsoil to create my jumps makes me really appreciate this dreamy Woburn sand ♥️🤘 Already excited for the next video 😉
Appreciate your clay, sand is way less durable and requiers much more fixing and maintenance. Once clay dries up and becomes rock hard it is much more epic than sand. I have jumps too. I fill sand on the bottom and clay on top.
Kane McIntyre yeh man we live in a sand belt, so it’s mostly sand saying that I did find a clay pile out the Barack which we have started barrowing down to make lips with. Thank sbuddy

Just wondering how would you describe the dirt at Woburn, a sandy clay or just sand or something else?It looks pretty perfect to me and wanted to know for the future for my own builds to help me decide what dirt to use or look for.
Tate Isaacs pretty sandy to be fair, it’s has a very little amount of clay in it, but also it used to be a quarry, they used to mine out fullers earth which is like a wax type material, it’s used in cosmetics and military. Apparently it has a lot silicone on it too so it’s not like your yak building sand. I would personally go for a clay based dirt as the maintenance will be a lot easier in the long run buddy, thanks
@@KIINGOFSPADES Thank you, that's cool to know that about Woburn, I know there are a few good jumps spots near me that have been made in quarries. @@KIINGOFSPADES I really don't suggest clay as well as clay holds water and it becomes really spongy. If you have the money I'd recommend soil or if you got a big purse there's this stuff called kitty which is 4mm - dust of type 1 hard-core lime stone
@@KIINGOFSPADES yh some people call it parth topper yes goes of pretty much like concrete if you really soak it and then really give it a good whack with your wacker. I'm from the UK and I work in construction and I pay about 22 pound something per tone but that's for me to pick it up as i have a flat bed van. So you could higher a flat bed van for day or you can get it dropped and id imagine it be like 28_30 pound a tone for it to.be dropped off but the more you get the better price they will.do.
W kEY bOlZz sweet thanks Bud, I’ll have a look into that I’ve got access to a flat bed so I may have a little look into that see what it’s like, does it key to any other materials? Or does it have to be 100% all that dirt 🤟🏼

Yooooo!! 100,000
Sorry but sand is the worst to bulid out of
W kEY bOlZz yeh for sure it’s not for everyone we haven’t got much choice to be fair, we found some clay but it’s very limited
@@KIINGOFSPADES I really don't suggest clay as well as clay holds water and it becomes really spongy. If you have the money I'd recommend soil or if you got a big purse there's this stuff called kitty which is 4mm - dust of type 1 hard-core lime stone
W kEY bOlZz ohhhh. I’ve not heard of that before!! I guess it goes off like concrete? And probably won’t crack either, any ideas what it is per tonne?
Man you need to buy some land and make a new park with clay.
