Valencian here. Looks like you visited Valencia in March when the Fallas Festival was about to unfold. If you don't like noise, it's good if you left before the big days 😂, otherwise it's a spectacular and vibrant but crowded festival. I'd recommend you to visit next time in May-June or in September-October.
