She did technically get a happish ending as she got to die with Sloan brushing through her hair and she was probably in shock still as she died pretty quickly so she probably wasn’t in pain. Then Sloan died like a month later and if you believe in an afterlife then they are probably up there having a perfect life together!

Sandra Oh's acting is absolutely brilliant here. It really left me shocked to know what Cristina had to go through during those 4 days. I thought that part with getting the bugs out of Arizona's leg and putting leaves on it was really horrendous (no wonder her leg was that infected) but when she said "and then I realized, they were fighting over Lexie..." that part really got me. I mean, just imagine the horror...
SHE NEEDS. MORE. AWARDS. This had me for every. Single. Second. I didn't look away from her eyes. The cold expression. Just. PURE. GOLD. Seriously. Great acting.
I like it too. It feels like the connection she has with him having PSTD because they both tried to keep it together for their people (Owen for his troops, Cristina for the doctors) to make sure they stay alive.

These two are definitely by far my favorite couple in the history of couples. People think that they shouldn't be together because he wants kids and she doesn't. Yes of course they are not perfect and they have their differences. But Owen has tried dating before and realize that he can never love someone as much as he loves Cristina. I hope Owen doesn't date anyone for the rest of the show. I cant imagine him loving anyone as much as he loves her. He didnt love Beth that much, he didnt love Teddy that much.

That's where they fucked up so hard. You can't have a couple with insane chemistry/story like Cristina and Owen and then try to have a couple like Amelia and Owen afterwards. No hate towards Omelia, but they have zero fucking chemistry and it just makes it seem like Owen is settling because he can't have Cristina - which no audience member wants to watch.

I'm rewatching the series and got to this episode a couple days ago... I did not remember this scene at all but now I can't forget it. It's haunted me for the past 2 freaking days! It's such a disturbing...eerie...heartbreaking...amazing and beautiful scene. The music, the emptiness in her eyes, the way she tells the story and the flatness of her voice is just so creepy and sad and disturbing! And even though she's in shock...completely and utterly traumatized...so flat and hollow and empty, you can still catch certain emotions at certain parts (fear and helplessness hrough the whole thing, abandoned and jealous when she mentions everyone was sleeping, panic and desperation about Arizona's leg, annoyance at Mark for trying to keep dying on her, disturbed and sad about the animals getting Lexi, disgusted and ashamed about drinking her pee...) I mean, Jesus Christ! Her acting is absolutely phenomenal in this scene. Kevin is fantastic too. There's so much emotion all over his face while she's talking...you can just imagine what is going through his mind. Seriously such an amazing scene in every way. I hate it and love it so much.
I think that if Mark lived he would've been terrible without Lexie so him dying meant he didn't have to suffer. Yes he had Sloan and Sophia to live for but Lexie was his love and he wanted to be with her even in death.
guys come i understand where u are coming from but remember they were there for a week without food and water. their bodies would've been slowly deteriorating, dehydrated and starved. meredith along with the rest must've fallen asleep at some point. cristina has always took it upon herself to be the leader and this clip clearly showed that and until we see further screen time of them in the woods and meredith not doing anything, then i can say that i agree with u 100%.
