- A new women’s shelter that supports Muslim women has opened in Winnipeg. The first of its kind for the city, the shelter offers a culturally sensitive and safe space for its clients. Swidda Rassy reports.

Also, what about "white" muslim women and children? Are they allowed?

This is called privileged and discriminatory… peoples religions dont need to be accommodated for when they are at rock bottom take help not be prissy about not getting everything you want while struggling… Canada is really becoming a joke by ending the age of equality between people…

What if there is no place for women of other faiths, then they are not allowed and have had bad luck? I thought tolerance for everyone. This is double standard and discriminatory

@@andrewsingh3495 Overweight or underweight, tolerance has already reached the end. This gender language that exists in some countries. That annoys everyone. When fairy tales are already being rewritten. Ultimately causes adverse effects. Noticeable. Goes to the opposite everywhere.

@@andrewsingh3495 More is made of it than it is. Every syllable gets excited. Gender language in various countries. Annoys everyone. That goes in the direction of sexualization. Overweight or underweight, that's where tolerance ends. It's exactly the opposite. Fairy tales are being rewritten. Everyone has to be careful. The whole thing started during Corona boredom in 1 country because of a product name. Most positively appreciated, called that for decades, awareness 99%. Someone suddenly said that was racist. Because of that, everyone started looking and trying to get into it. A left-wing politician there now sees injustice and discrimination everywhere. Another manufacturer there has renamed another biscuit because someone didn't like it. They took advantage of it right away and changed all the packs and raised the prices :-) Because of the pile of chickens it's going around the world and is now discriminatory and unfair in a different way. You can't even have a reasonable discussion there because they're radical
This is called privilege, and people want to say whites have some special laws over other races?? Quite the oppposite, there are many laws that give privledges to other races and religions specifically while anyone else is left without that hand out or accessibility.

@@briankroger7879 thank you for pointing out the obvious however there are language barriers that may prevent them from seeking help. It’s good to see they have a safe refuge.
@@annekowallcheck7436 Canada cities are almost all immigrants now from all over.. so no, a language barrier doesn’t mean a specific people get special treatment. Nor should their religion dictate that. The fact that we are discriminating based on skin colour in Canada is socking to me. Treat everyone the same and give everyone the same access to help.. ffs
@@pongort246 I agree equal treatment for all, I personally don’t see colour etc… I see a sister or brother in need and I am certain if there was a time a non Muslim or different raced women need help I would hope the shelter is open to them as well.
