I've said it before, but it bears repeating, I really appreciate the hard work, diversity, kindness, compassion, and efforts you put in to this channel. I hope that one day your videos will generate a tip.or clue that solves a case, that would be incredibly gratifying for all of us who support you. Every video you make creates a chance to solve a crime and for that I am more than a fan. You rock southern girl!
That woman who forgave her family’s murderer , went too far letting him move in and especially where she’s running a business that puts others in danger. 🙄 The last case, Patricia, what a beauty. So sad.
He was just an inmate looking for a way out, probably was the sweetest nicest guy and said everything she wanted to hear. once he got out completely different.
Totally agree ❤❤❤ love love all her videos. I'm not going anywhere, I'll be here if no one else wants to be. Even tho I doubt that... She'll have 100 thousand subs in no time 😁...
Solved case Thursday by Southern Girl. My favorite cases are the solved cases. Thanks SG! I'm seeing the pattern now... unsolved on Tuesday and solved on Thursday.
I’ve had particular cases where I argued that the jury should receive a manslaughter or second degree murder instruction and was successful in this. But that’s not what we have here. As far as I’m aware Michigan and Nevada are the only states that have an initial “open murder” charge that carries all the way through to jury deliberations. So I’m not surprised that you don’t remember seeing it before.
I've heard of Travis's misdeeds before. He really couldn't drive well when in stressful situations. I've never understood Martha letting this man back into her life.
Hey sweet face! Thank you so much for the upload. I appreciate your consistency and your heart. ❤ You can tell that you really care about people in general and that you really care about the people in the cases that you present to us, it shows in your work and I can always hear it in your voice. Keep up the good work and continue to keep us informed.
Retired prison guard here. We told an inmate who was hiding in protective custody he has to go into general population. He told us he'll get piped. We said too bad you tortured a 4 year old foster boy to death, to get out! Well, as we anticipated, he got a sock of batteries taking out a row of teeth. It took the prosecutor too long to fully prosecute him or respond to his appeal, so the case was dismissed and he and his wife, only did a max of 7 years!!!
The Fairmount Park assaults & Rebecca Park's murder has weighed heavy on many peoples minds for years. That area is minutes from me. I'm so glad Diaz has finally been caught & will finally have to answer for his crimes. And I pray Rebecca Park can now rest in peace knowing her murderer cannot harm anyone else. Usually, that section of the park is safe & mostly well lit so most runners, joggers, bicyclists, dog walkers, etc. find it safe. Especially twenty years ago. Most people who frequent the trails nowadays keep their eyes o alert for any suspicious activity.
Exactly! And I don’t think this was the case in any of these but my biggest pet peeve is when they are caught years/decades later the killers are relieved themselves at being caught. That there’s a sense of relief from being “on the run” or living their life so to speak. But my thing is, if you’re so gung ho that it’s finally over, you should have confessed to the crime years ago. Nothing was stopping them!
This is yet another example of someone reported missing soon after an unidentified body is found. I know tech wasn't great in 1979 but are there *that* many John/Jane Does within a short time frame who has a similar age/body type of a missing person that no one connects the dots??? It's just really sad that it takes so long to solve some of these. Thank you, SG, for the detail and work you put into such tragic stories.
Absolutely this Southern Girl deserves all Glory on All the Hard Work , and the Time you use to produce content worth watching Hoping and Praising? That each and every story gets told and found if God permits! ❤❤❤❤emm nm
If polygraph test results cannot be used as evidence in a court of law due to their lack of reliability then WHY is law enforcement still using them to determine if a person is cleared/dismissed of suspicion in committing a crime or they demand further investigation???? Both uses are just as vital as the other & unreliable for one means unreliable for both.
I agree, but I believe it's because if there is deception on test, the detectives use it to their advantage when iterationing suspects and will put more pressure on the subject.
I would never feel sorry, form a bond, plea for someone to have a lesser sentence, have them get out, move in and give them a home when they killed someone I loved. He should have stayed in jail the first time!
Great work to the Officers for getting the scum off the streets in all the cases... Whether it's solved or unsolved I enjoy all of your videos... Keep'em coming please ❤😊
Polygraphs are junk science - you might as well toss a coin. Why do police still use them? 🙃 I'd never take a polygraph. (Hopefully I'd never be in the position to be asked...!) Great channel 👍
@eadweard. Yeah, you're right, I get that, but if people are found lying the accused says its wrong anyway. & so often I see as a result of these the police wrongly pursue a suspect or let the guilty person go. You'd think with our technology we could invent a fail-safe lie detector test that could be actually used in court. Maybe one day...
Martha tried to always see the good in people, sometimes people have no good in them, this guy was in trouble his whole life,at least Karma took care of him.
I need to pay more attention to local news. As a Philly resident I had no idea they'd finally caught the guy responsible for the Fairmount Park assaults. Regardless, I'm glad to see it.
The case about Martha...being so rich she apparently didn't have a brain. This woman lets her mothers sadistic killer move into her home after she pleaded for his paroled release. He gets greedier and then he killed them both, albeit years apart, but you couldn't make this stuff up!
Why are these sickos continually released over and over again. I think the people who release them should be fined in increased amounts for every crime committed when they get out! Some of these people should never have been let out.
Yep, my dear lady. Karma is always a bitch. I cannot believe that Travis was even trusted again or ever released. I have also never heard of an "open crime". Just so tragic. I wish that they had not trusted that man. Forgiveness is one thing, but to allow this person another opportunity is just stupid. Sorry. I'm upset. Good job on the video.
You consistently present a professional, detailed report, and I thank you for it, Southern Girl! Personally I prefer ones like these, where the ravaging wolves have been caught (and if we are fortunate as a society, 'euthanized'). I would say about half, at least!, of what is Pinned in my true crime folder is your content 🤩
Karen Marie died in 1980, aged 21 (b.1959). Laming was identified in 2022/3, aged 70 (b.1952-3). So how could he have been 42 at the time of the murder?
It’s one thing to forgive the murderer who killed your Morher, something I’ll admit I probably couldn’t do, but to then let him move into the family home is just crazy imo and disrespectful to the victims

Dangerous and an evil creature
Insanity 🙄

Women LOVE felons. Bet she wouldn’t do that for the normal guy down the street
She was old enough to know that leopards can't change their spots. Once a killer, always a killer. Prison does not rehabilitate most people.
This girl deserves more appreciation for her videos , she deserves more likes I love the way she tells the stories
YES SHE DOES!!! I totally agree with you!!❤
@@eviehammond9509 agreed 😊

Absolutely ❤❤

Interesting! I've never heard the term "open murder" or of a jury deciding the degree. Thank you Southern Girl!
I hadn't either, and I've followed thousands of cases over the years.

You're my favorite true crime channel! Keep up the good work, your hard work & skill show in your content!
A case remaining unsolved for over 40 years would be a kick in the teeth for any victim's family to endure
I've heard of Travis's misdeeds before. He really couldn't drive well when in stressful situations. I've never understood Martha letting this man back into her life.
I couldn’t believe that story 🤯
Forgiveness I guess but there’s a limit
She thought she was showing compassion, but in reality, it was extremely unwise.
chock it up to another woke, white woman who paid a terrible price!
She was a do gooder that brought it on herself.
Love seeing the word SOLVED ❤️
Same. I don't watch the unsolved ones. Too depressing for me. (also I'm on the other side of the work so unlikely to be able to help)
You’ve got the best true crime channel, love listening to your voice and the effort you put into your research.
Thank you!
Impeccable timing! 🍷!
B’Ville (Baldwinsville) is 15 minutes from me. I go there all the time. I remember this case. R.I.P. Ava ❤

Martha was FAR too forgiving. What an awful repayment. Forgive but you just never forget! Glad he wasn’t able to hurt anyone else!
You do such a great job on these videos. I really do enjoy them.❤
It's the spooky background music that just adds so much! Subbing.
Woooooowoooooooo pumping em out!! Keep at it you’re bound to pop off!!!
Why the fuck would you be close let alone live with somebody who killed your daughter???
Yes she’s well spoken and dose crimes story’s that no one else does. She is amazing. I’m glad she’s gets older ones and sharing them as closed.
We love your videos!
You do a great job telling people's stories. Thanks!
I really like your content, keep up the good work.
I appreciate it!
Perfect timing! ❣️
Sickening how the perpetrators get away with it for decades

It's easy to look at these cases with modern eyes, but we don't know the details.

Oh wow!
I love these videos
Karma came for Travis no waiting around ❤
Thanks. Love ur voice, only southern one I like💕🥰
Awe you’re too sweet. Thanks hun. ❤️
Smh Martha why??😢
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
The Snowden murders are one of those cases that stick with you! I remember when I first heard about this.😢😮
So she let a murderer of her mom move into her lavish home. Great call. No wonder such tragedies happen
Oh wait, he stabbed her too. 13:34
Have a great day
I live in Philly, it’s always something out here
People like Travis makes me question the famous quote "everyone deserve a second chance"
No matter how much kindness people show, a criminal will be a criminal.
3rd case: Nice idea to give murderers a second chance judge!
Please update us if you hear anything more about the trial of that piece of work from the first one!
Great work to the Officers for getting the scum off the streets in all the cases...

He kills her mother and when he gets out gives him a job and let him live with her?!!! I’m sorry she was looking to be murdered
First guy an absolute nut 😮

My heart goes out to all the victims 💔💔💔💔💔💔
The creepy short making girl just did one in this. Glad to get a longer version

messed up. she felt bad n had mercy on him, she helped him n trusted him and then he steals from her then murders her. smh drowning is karma

That third case is astonishing. Not sure what the takeaway should be. But as a cautionary tale it is operatic in scope.

Some people are just evil and selfish..
Not mentally ill
God bless the people that move into or live in the Snowden estate now. Ugh.
Wow, Travis could not swim….shocking!😂🤔😏
I’m not sure why Heather let Ava stay with her ex since he was definitely exhibiting troublesome actions.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

There's no doubt that Dias likely has more victims you done commit crimes of that nature without having more skeletons in your closet

Diaz looks off his rocker...

Thank you again for all your great videos. Trying to appease the YT deities with my comment, hope it helps.
Do a story on Altemio Sanchez
Ok
Omg, doesn’t make sense to let the person that murdered your mom live with you. Thats not forgiveness, thats stupidity, in my opinion
🙏
