  • Does anybody know why Ney wasted his talent by leaving Europe and going to Saudi Arabia at only 31 years of age?
Neymar has joined Saudi club Al-Hilal from PSG in a two-year deal
He gets a salary of around 100 million euros each year
But he also gets to live in a 25 bedroom mansion, gets a private plane
And among plenty of other privileges,
He gets 500k euros if he posts about Saudi Arabia on social media
    Now the question is,
Is Neymar that good? Does he deserve all that money?
    Absolutely not
He's an incredibly talented player, don't get me wrong. Any football fan likes to watch him
But for that amount of money, you have to bring something spectacular to the team.
And that is the opposite of what Neymar did in the past 6 years with PSG
In Barcelona, the MSN formation, Messi, Suarez and Neymar were helping him
But in PSG, there was partying, a clash of egos, selfishness, fights with teammates,
Red cards for diving and lots and lots of injuries
Neymar missed over 100 games for PSG because of injuries
He holds on to the ball too long that he injures himself for months,
Sure, he helped PSG win 5 league titles in 6 years,
But that’s not much of an accomplishment,
Because before he joined in 2017,
PSG had already won 4 consecutive League titles,
Swedish legend Zlatan became PSGs top scorer,
With the tile then taken over by Edinson Cavani,
    Then finally by Kylian Mbappe
But with Neymar no where to be seen despite 6 years in Paris
He wouldn't let Cavani take a penalty that would make him the club's top scorer,
And also fought with Mbappe over penalties, free kicks and assists
And Cavani and Mbappe are both football stars.
So imagine what he'll do with his Al Hilal teammates.Just like in PSG, he probably won't be a team player with his Saudi club teammates either
So does anybody know what Al Hilal get in return for paying all that money?

I don’t think it’s about winning trophies there, I think it’s about the followers he got. How many followers does he have on Instagram that will follow him everywhere?
Winning the Asian champions league will definitely be a plus though.

That is the sad truth. It’s sad because he’s only 31 years old and because he was a great talent. But you made a good point, if he wins the champions league, it won’t be so bad and might even face the UEFA Champions League winner and that would be interesting.

It started being sad ever since he left Barca for PSG 5 years ago, he probably would’ve won more champions league and the Ballon dor if he stayed at Barca.
      Such a wasted talent.

@@amrelmugharbil1256 couldn’t agree more. Messi once said it himself, that Ney never should’ve left Barcelona. And ever since he left there was always rumors he’d make a return to Barca, until he decided to really mess up with this move.
