Beautiful... I'm only 19 but I love old sport bikes more than new ones and I want to own as many as I can in my life. Great video and great bike.
I agree with you. I'm 19, I think the 90s were the best and always will be. I have two favorites, the first is srad 750 (96-99) and the second is zxr750.

@@sh4rrppl4ys49 yes it's nice but these motorcycles are very rare in Turkey. For example i guess there are at most 5 zxr750 in total.
If my English is good, I can explain a lot about this subject :D. It's difficult to find old motorcycles in Turkey and there aren't old bikes parts. Hobby of rich people for TR.
The carburetor’s gave them different power bands then today’s modern Fuel injection! I grew up in the 80’-90’s got to own this and a bunch more like them back then. My favorite was the 2002 ZX900RR first 9 second anything to leave a factory! You can look that up it went 9.99 in a 1/4 right out of the box! Ours had a ton of work done to it and was new so even faster! Amazing what that bike could do!
Cockpit view is immaculate, i fell in love with those air hoses way back in 89 when i was still young 😅 awesome days 😎 🤟🤠80s was an hilarious decade 😅
I was at myrtle beach in my high school days and saw one of these , started my love affair with sportbikes . Im still riding @ 50. Now i have a zx14 that was put on a major diet . Lightrr wheels from zx10 , the lightest sticky tires , exhaust , foot pegs , zx10 flywheel and stator . Ive done put about every bolt on performance enhancer you can on the bike. Ive ran 5.89 @ 126mph ⅛ mile . foot shift with 4" over swing arm .

I had forgotten how good these were at doing the race bike simulation, all the fanfare but no need for speed. Thats exactly why we used to put loud pipes on everything.

Its not real air induction. Those tube just blow air on the rocker cover. They did nothing
@@wongjock648 yeah my bad induction was the wrong word, still cool nonetheless! (And not Necessarily nothing maybe some cooling otherwise why did they have them)
@@AdamMc07 I had one back in the 90s, they were there just for show. They looked good but did nothing. The bike was water and oil cooled so they contributed nothing to cooling. There for show only
@@wongjock648 i removed the fairing and tubes, went pretty well in fairness, i only weighed about 130 lbs
Funny the one thing I liked about this bike way back when, was the Lost in space robot arm intake tubes.

I was in High School when this first came out. The colors were so bad ass and the air hoses were so cool. Loved it.
In the 90's i saw one of this for the first time.Back than this for me was like seeing a space ship. It was something unreal.and the guy that had it told us,kids,....You wouldnt even believe the speed and power of this thing.He went to zxr from a Gpz 400. Todays bikes dont give thrills and emotions like that bikes than.Or maybe i was or i am still crazy. Am I? Beautifull maschine....ciao:)

Just bought one today! It’s an H2 in g/w/b… doesn’t have the oe exhaust (micron), so will be looking out for one (yep, probably impossible) but it’s all original, including the seat hump. I had 3 in the past, 2 H2s and an H1.. One of the best looking bikes ever in my opinion.

Ich hab dich vor ein paar Jahren in Thansau an der Tanke gesehen und es ging mir jetzt Jahre nicht aus dem Kopf. Und jetzt find ich das Video. Wahnsinn die Maschine. Der Leerlauf und das Aussehen kommen in echt noch viel besser rüber.

Danke für Mitfahrt. Ich durfte so eine schöne Maschine von 1991 bis 1998 mein eigen nennen. Für die Zeit damals war es ein heißes Teil. Verarbeitung, Motor einfach super. Bis auf Wartung und Reifen wechseln hatte Sie mich nie im Stich gelassen. Das einzige was ich auszusetzen hatte, war das Kurvenverhalten der Maschine. Eine saubere Linie hinzubekommen war immer Arbeit.

Of all the bikes i've owned, this was my favourite of all time. I'd give almost anything to have mine back. I've owned some spectacular bikes, too! This trumps my Cross plane R1, my Ducati 1098S, my VF1000R, my RG500, my KR1S...... It was genuinely my favourite. I kick myself, daily, that I ever sold it.
I seem to remember the stock rear suspension supposedly being a major flaw with this bike. I only rode one once very briefly on roads in the UK back in 1990 as my friend had one. I was recovering from a major accident, so I could not push it to see. I really liked the look of the bike though at the time and remember the 'vacuum cleaner' hoses!
@@Simon-fr4ts Unfortunately, for me, I had a '93 model. I soooo wanted the vacuum cleaner one! The one I had was 100% sorted. Went like hell, and handled beautifully. The pinnacle of 'just good clean fun'. It'd beat much newer bikes and never faltered. Such a joy of a bike.

Jesus Christ, i had one of these '89 h1 and i would use to rev it high and quickly hit the kill switch off and on again, very fast on the high rev.....it would absolutely backfire flames and massive explosions out of the exhaust, funny shit scarying people

Same here, i had a J2 engine in mine, with no fairing, and drag bars instead of the drops. Pulled really well, and everyone loved it. Sounded great with a race can with the wadding removed. Great times.

H1 n h2 s were the Sexiest sounding Std exhaust when I was at KMUK ..THIS SOUNDS LIKE A "J" MATE..have you Got the black GPX 750 MOTOR or the Silver J With that exhaust.. H1 H2 should GROWL..at the back end..😮

You need a quick action throttle - take the throttle tube from a 6R or a 10R which should be plug&play for the most part.
Oh, and clutchless upshifts FTW.

The GoPro is mounted on the gas tank. With a suction cup from ebay for 15 EURO.

Hahaha back in the early 90s I had this in green then one in red. I have never before or after bought the exact same bike twice. Every time I rode off on it I felt like I was doing a warm up lap of the Bol 24h. Those hoover pipes looked so damned works team and it sounded so racy with the standard exhaust. Kawasaki in 2022 make trash designs, maybe they are good underneath but boy oh boy is that 'blow up doll open mouth and ready for meat' look they are just so damned ugly. Kawasaki needs to go back to the drawing board by looking back a few decades to when they had it large.
