Singing from low to high with accuracy and difficulty that almost no singers alive I have seen yet that can match the all around abilities of Dimash. Not in rock, not in jazz, not in reggae, salsa, blues, country and dozens more. Being able of singing in different rhythms and styles, doesn't make him automatically the best at each of them. He has covered Michael Jackson, greate cover, but not better than Michael. Covered All by myself, greate cover, not better than Celine Dion ( and I actually preffer the original by Erik Carmen) just by reaching higher notes, same with My heart will go on, higer notes here and there, but over all, Celine's version is far better. The problem, if there's any, is that most of his songs are a show off for his abilities as a vocalist, and he made a point, but sooner or later, it's like watching a juggler, and you end up watching him for those skills, because his range is insane and he can use a lot of different tones. That's not why I listen to Led Zeppelin or Soda Estereo, that's not the reason to listen to Oasis or Jim Morrison, to Chris Stapleton or Aretha Franklin. The reason is because their songs are amazing, their voices, sensibility and perspective are unique in the genres they mastered. Still, you miss the point. My favourite singer is Robert Plant, but i've never called him the best. Calling Picasso, Shakespeare, Michael Angelo, Pavarotti, Robert Plant or in your case, Dimash, the best, is useless and irrelevant, because, again, art is subjective and is all about perspective.

Having sat through a LOT of opera, some good some plain snorefests and elitist gossip galas, I can honestly say I hear my vocal coach on steroids every time I watch and hear Dimash. He is in another stratosphere from the rest and he’s so dang humble. He likes to cuddle his grandmother in his rare spare time. The rest of the time he says he spends in the studio and sleeps. That’s it! Sinful Passion, Ogni Pietra and Passione will all appeal to the opera singer in you. Sinful Passion was originally written and performed by A-Studio a famous Russian band and Dimash is accompanied by the band in the Sochi performance.SPOILER ALERT LOL It showcases bass vocal fry, whisper, chest voice, mixed voice , falsetto, soprano, super head voice, and an Asian ornamentation that is spectacular, plus rnb and pop elements. Actually, he didn't train "with'" Michael Jackson, but Michael was indeed his idol. And he performed a tribute to him (Tribute to Michael Jackson) for which he learned to do some similar dances. Dimash's training took place from age 5 on, in a music academy for gifted youngsters in Kazakhstan, which is his homeland, where he continues to live with his family. He is, by the way, 6'3" tall and will be 26 on May 24.

Perhaps the better term may be "Most Tallented". His range and control, as far as I have found, are unmatched.
