Getting a bow from Grozer is the top of my list for my next bow. Everytime you do a video about a Grozer bow I get excited to see what they've created there. Great review. This bow looks like another mastercraft from Grozer.
Another beautiful bow by Grozer! You did try his older L2 Tartar I bought it under your recommendation. Another honest review as always. Thanks for all you do my friend!
Thank you, Armin, for testing. I have the old version with slimmer syiahs and sinew bridges from about 2008. From my point of view it's the best bow Grozer ever made - way better than the biocomposit. The old one don't have the handshock you describe.
Shaun Henderson is spot on [see below] I have two laminated bows. A Yumi and a Korean from the ever helpful Freddy Archery. I must be very protective of them here. A Grozer may be the next item in the protection program. Thank you Armin for another excellent review/demonstration.
My main bow is exactly the one shown here, I have it since past summer (the previous one was the original fiberglass Assyrian from Grózer /He doesn’t make it any more /, which served me for 14 years, before it broke). This one is exactly as (good) it is presented in this video! Great 👍🏻 for both Mr. Hirmann and Mr. Grózer!
Another was the Kadesh which I have. Another angular bow. 195 with 10gpp at 30". Seems that design is one of if not the quickest design with 9-10 gpp arrows. However you really have to bend the whole bow compared to my Tatar with siyas.
Sir, you really are a bad influence, everytime you review a Grozer bow I start thinking about buying, I've actually looked at the nomad website now, I'm getting closer to buying myself a birthday present, your an evil influence,🤣😆🤣😆🤣another excellent, information packed video.🙏 The curve of that boy is beautiful
Too right, very bad influence. Ruining my marriage, my wife calls my bows my 'other girlfriends'. At this point you could say it's a harem, I do kinda feel like a sultan walking in picking the bow I want to shoot for the day LOL!
Grozer never disappoints. I'm really liking that grip more and more. Looks awesome. Just, if I were to buy an asirian from Grozer, it would be the bio composite 😁
@@kevinmaughan4290 I don't really know yet. I never had a bio composite so I would love to try it. People say they're quite different to laminated bows.
Nice one Armin 👍 I'm still in love with the Tatar, Yuan, Ottoman, and Korean design. This design looks very interesting and powerful 👊 I would very much like to have the opportunity to shoot with one of that quality one day. Greetings Armin my best wishes to you and everyone in Malta🙏
i don't know which i like better now, Tatar or Korean design. Those are the only two that I have tried. I have a Turkish bow coming in the mail soon and now I want to try a Keshig also. Now I add Yuan, Ottoman, Crab and Assyrian...So many bows too little time haha!
Today we measured the speed of the L1 assyrian X carbon laminated bow 48#. Video and photos were made of the testing. These are the results with three different arrows: wood arrow 218-220 fps (30"-446,5grain-28,9gramm-9,3GPP) wood arrow 224-228 fps (30"-396grain-25,6gramm-8,25GPP) carbon arrow 234-238 fps (32"-351,5grain-22,8gramm-7,32GPP, but we drew it to 30")
I am sure the bow can do that. I just take the GPP from the draw length I use, so when I draw 30" the bow has more than 48# in this case. Nonetheless I think it is the fastest laminated bow I ever shot
nice bow, but so small at 45#, what is it for ? target ? real hunting ? 3D ? my 57" Flagella Dei scythian bow is 35#@ 30" and control is very difficult over 10 m, globally no precision, so 50#@30" , for champions ?
What's "so small?" your 57" bow should be easy at 10m especially at just 30# however flagella dei bows are meh not very great monstrous siyas lots of handshock but still accuracy is the archer not the bow
Nice review as always. Although I am a great fan of Grozer bows (have a Persian and a long Hungarian, both biocomposite), my favorite Assyrian bow comes still from Peter Bogar. Super lightweight, beautifully made, a pleasure to shoot, and costs 100 Euro less than this one. Has narrower sears, too. Armin made an impressive test some time ago. This Grozer bow reminds me of my Assyrian bow by Imre Nagy which has quite massive sears but is nevertheless fun to shoot since one gets used to it.
Just a question for you regarding the latest Grozer bows you've tested: is the string quite lumpy and has lots of flaking wax or string fibres? I recently received a bow from Grozer where the string looked like the one you have in the video, but it's like the string fibres keep falling off, or he's put on some residue or wax and then folded it away, making the strings very lumpy, almost like nodes along a bamboo shaft or something. I thought this was very odd and cleaned all of this residue off the string and straightened it out, then re-twisted and re-waxed it again, but the string is very dry in general and still flakes away a bit.
@@ArminHirmer do you know if we're supposed to clean it off or not? Because my friend waxed his string without cleaning it and it became very lumpy and flaky, whilst I cleaned mine off but now it's very dry!
You already did a review for a Grozer laminated bow, it was the L2 Tatar bow, 2 years ago. 😁 I actually bought it after your review. The belly of this one looks like carbon, and the belly of the L2 Tatar was just black, looked a lot like somekind of horn imitation. Could you please do a comparison video between the biocomposit and laminated assyrian Grozer and the assyrian laminated from Peter Bogar? It would be great to see the how they perform next to each other.
I think I dont have all the bows here anymore. The draw and shooting experience of the biocompatible. is for sure best, Bogar does not have this hand shock. But this one is the fastest of them all :D
Fastest on the planetttt... 185... Lol made me chuckle a bit... But I believe it is fast. It's awesome I wonder if it's the new meter... Cause they should have been faster
Dear Armin, I hope you will also test grozers new Extra II bows, currently being sold on his website for 325 euros. They are apparently biohorn + fiberglass bows, without the lamination part. He states them to be smooth, calm and accurate. But I see no reason not to pay 70 euro more for a biocomposite with lamination. But in truth, we do not know how this extra II performs compared to the base bows, laminated and biocomposites. So please consider testing one for us. Good day
Armin thanks for the video! We measured 225 fps, but 197 is also good. You can eliminate the grip vibration with another string, we put it in the holder pocket. If you can't find it I'll send you another string. This bow must not vibrate.
I would be very greatful for a quality bow I have cheap bows because I can't afford a good b9w thanks for your time. Your videos are are very informative I appreciate the quality.
Happy new year Armin! wishing you happy shooting in 2022. Do you know if there is a difference between Grozer's extra 2 bows and the extra 3? are they still horn bows?
I'd love to see a comparison with this and the Kadesh from AF. The angular design seems to be the fastest with 10 gpp arrows. However there aren't any siyas so drawing the bow takes a bit more

Great review as usual, very informative! 👍
Sorry if the question is stupid, but why wouldn't you want a big fletching on a heavy tiped arrow ?
As it seems it counteracts. One end needs to be stabilized not both :)
@@ArminHirmer hunters balance heavier points using bigger fletching to give more stabilization in the air.

Ok, it doesn’t seem to be so bad to do it in the end. Big fletching is so beautiful, 5 or 6 inches feathers are perfect for me 🙂
