I disagree with people who are accusing him on eating pigeon. As long as you eat meat, you are directly/ indirectly killing animals. There is no different cruelty when you eat pigeon and other animals. Animal lives are equal, 1pigeon life = 1 chicken/ cow/ pig/ dog life. They are all in the food chain. Unless, that animal is raised as pet.

Oh this looks good. I am really envy. An old friend of mine slaughtered pigeons, too. And I helped him when I was abt. 16. It was a special race of pigeons which are especially big for eating. Strasser Tauben I think was their name. They are so big that their ability to fly is really bad. But they have nearly as much meat as a chicken. And it tastes so good 🤗😍 Greetings from Germany /Bavaria /Kelheim

Not judging but whether it’s pigeons pork chicken fish beef it’s all being eaten and enjoyed by friends and family. That’s what really matters ❤
I'm fairly new to bird hunting in general, especially pigeons. I've cooked a few dove and pigeon on my bbq pit, and so far, so good. But is anyone else concerned about worms, parasites, etc. Does the cooking kill all that? Thanks for your input to all who respond. 🙏🏼
Parasites will not survive the heat of cooking. They would simply add to the nutritional value and flavour of the meat.
Are you concerned about worms, parasites when you eat chickens? They are literally the same.

Furthermore, no chicken is checked and monitored before eating in rural area and it is okay to eat. Obviously, you are living in city.

Pigeons and especially this kind.. Are proper rats, they eat anything, and if there is a rubbish they hang there and eat rotten food out of it.. You can eat the ones you grow at home or in farms but definitely not the wild ones
