- Harley, Ellie and Taz woke up this morning ready for another awesome day at the farm. They heard Elle and Evie announce it was Pizza Friday and boy were they excited about that!
We welcomed Minnie the Cocker Spaniel, Nitro the Chocolate Labrador and Minni the Cocker X to our pack today.
Yesterday was a hot 30 degrees Celsius for Spring and today it dropped down to just 18 degrees, after yesterday, we really felt it so we made sure the pool was set to a nice balmy 32 and with all the sticks Dylan had collected around the property we loaded up the outdoor fire all ready for a cosy fun session in the pool this afternoon.
Bandit was especially excited about the lure course today, he began the session by nosing under the bucket to expose the machine before we even got there. And at the end, he did the same thing in protest as we all walked back to the playground. Whilst Jason set up the course, Bandit ran back and forth memorising the track before we begun. He likes to know the course inside out.
In the dam for big ball time, Bowie the Labrador jumped off the dock for the first time, way to go Bowie!
Then it was time for Pizza! We’ve been having pizza Friday every week for a really long time. We get it from our local Domino’s which is locally owned and run by David. Not many places deliver to us being rural. David called Luke up this morning and said how Luke had been ordering every Friday since he bought the shop and would really like to shout us lunch today. Wow thank you David! The doggies were very thankful too with everyone getting pizza crusts too!
After lunch it was swim time! There’s so many on Friday that love to swim and need no encouragement. Tilly the Boxer has been coming for years but it’s only been since we opened the heated pool that she has started getting in by herself and swimming after the toys, we’re really hoping this will be a big summer of swimming for her this year. Taz the Wheaten pup has progressed from crocodile slides in to leaps off the edge! Tilly the Kelpie has hydro therapy with Luke for her ankle. First timer Nitro half fell in, half intentionally after the squeaky ball ... were hoping it’s the start of something for him. Oh and someone forgot to turn the hose off, so we now have an infinity pool which all the dogs absolutely loved ... they literally were stepping off and into warm steamy water!
After the pool session there were several knocks on the door. Bandit first of course then his mate Ellie the Cavalier and Taz the Cavoodle. Bandit rubbed himself over every inch of the couch after his hydro bath and blow dry then settled in on the armchair next to Ellie who was wrapped in a warm towel also settled into an armchair. The girls put on the movie ‘Shark Tale’ as Bandit waited for the bus.
When the bus had left it was time to play with the girls Elle and Evie. Pee Wee chases, bubbles and then roasting marshmallows on the fire. Soon after, Taz and Ellie were snoring on their beds dreaming of all the days wonderful adventures.

Beautiful film. Bandit....you are such a smart, sweet and silly boy and I always look forward to your antics. What a fun way to end the week. Your daughters looked so pretty in their matching outfits. They are so cute and charming and I love how comfortable they are around all the dogs that are such a big part of their daily lives. Hugs to everyone's favorite farm mascot, Charlie...my heart swells every time I see him, no matter what he's doing. It's wonderful how you give each dog individual attention and support, and cheer them on as they conquer their fears and learn new tasks.

As usual... another fabulous day at the farm. I love how many dogs have 'sleepovers'...lol. Charlie napping in the middle of the lure course and Bandit wanting it to go on forever. Yes the pool was a bit full... nobody seemed to care. Love watching these and as usual love and hugs to sweet Charlie,. ❤️🐕🐾

You are fantastic! 🧡 I am training to start a doggy daycare in Sweden and you are my role models above all others. I would love to see a video on the process of introducing new dogs to the pack and how you integrate a bit more socially awkward or dominant dogs.
Also, now I get why Bandit is the fastest dog on the lure. He has figured out how it works and cuts corners to get ahead 😂 What a great, awsome dog!!

Katie Rougeau oh I hope you got to have a service for her! My foster sister’s husband died of covid last Friday while living in a nursing home after a stroke. He was cremated and we did not have a funeral. Take care and surround yourself with good memories.

lol, WANT SNORING I currently have a 100 pound pocket pitty laying beside my office chair who makes a grown man look like a kid!! Also, I just adore Tilly when she puts her head down waiting for the throw! We call the cattle dogs, but I'm sure there is a true name! Would love to see those two in wait on the open field, lol! The babies playing and toasting mellows was to sweet!! Looks like bandit is learning to track the lines and I got the best laugh out of that, but there might just be something to it, lol! As always sending lots of love from Oklahoma!!!

But, to see all these babies so happy, running, playing and swimming truly makes the heart happy! Just wish you were a little closer to Oklahoma USA, lol! I fell over backwards trying to hang something on my patio & fractured my T7. I wasn't able to watch my favorite videos until I was transferred from the hospital to physical therapy. My nurses got addicted to your videos. You got some new followers. Your videos kept me positive during a difficult time. I just want you to know how important your videos are for people during the pandemic and other difficult times.

Saturday morning coffee to watch Friday at the farm. Start to the weekend doesn't get better than this. Such a great watch in the infinity pool today but I notice the Bandit was MIA. Bet he was snoozing with his pal Charlie after keeping an eye on the lure.
