Constitutional Silver dimes and quarters are the best type of silver to stack imo. I used to stack generic 1oz rounds but realized I wanted fractional pieces and be 100% sure what I was buying wasn't fake.
I think more people are realizing constitutional silver will easily be recognized by the majority of people and therefore will make it a good barter tool 😊
Love constitutional silver. It just gets harder and harder to find. Constitutional makes up a third of my stack and I budget a third of my spending on constitutional silver. I spend a third on constitutional, a third on .999 bars, rounds and coins, and a third on gold. Great video as always. It's always good to see your content.
That shows me how much value the paper dollar has lost. Thanks, as always, Silver Joker for your great videos... great information! Take care, be safe and God bless! Keep that silver train rolling!! ✌️✌️
I have been stacking for about 2 years now. I coin roll hunt and most of my 90% half dollars I have found in rolls at the bank around $140 fv, or from customer dumps. I have bought most of my quarters and dimes, only occasionally finding them in rolls. I also have found lots of 40% silver halves in the past 2 years, close to $1000 fv. I sell my 40% when it makes sense to convert it to gold. The premium on 90% is super high right now, but it is the only silver that isn’t being made anymore, and easily understood by most people to be silver.
Good to hear. My local bank has a coin counter. They are letting me buy the bag of half dollars when it gets full in a few weeks. You have to buy $1000 at a time. I can take back any that I don't want. This is my first coin hunt and I'll be looking at 2000 coins lol. Should be fun!
When I started buying silver years ago junk silver was cheap and mostly what was available. There weren't all these silver dealers or all the stuff like rounds and bars. My income has been drastically reduced since I was forced to retire by medical issues but I haven't sold any of it because I figured the future sucked and my family would need it. I never thought of it as an investment but as a fall back for when paper money became green toilet paper. I figured someone would always be willing to trade for silver or gold. But I also recognized that cans of beans may be even more valuable. I never in my wildest nightmares ever thought I would possibly witness the end of the United States but that looks more like a possibility every days as the world is being taken over by criminals and evil bastards.
For me it's the beautiful design of the coins. Truly works of art that expressed American values and principles. Not like the "all hail Caesar" coins with presidents on them now.
Franklin Halves are started to get premiums on them, I buy them whenever they show up at my LCS....I think they are going to do very well in the future.
@@austinrath9741 well because I've reached my goals with dimes quarters half dollars and nickels so now I want to bulk up my dollar stash, and at my local coin shop, those are the least volatile coin right now so it's easy to keep up with the budget
Ironic that I can buy 4 Franklin halves or Kennedy halves for $40 at my LCS today and that equals .60 cents more than an ounce of silver, but that same $40 won’t buy a 1 oz. American Silver Eagle from that same coin shop or most online dealers today.
I like your channel, SJ. You always point out something that I was unaware of. You show us that you are aware of what's going on in the world without taking a side or sounding negative. 90% has always been my favorite; not interested in bars or rounds; never have and never will. Many fake bars and rounds but 90% has just limited fake Morgans and being into 90% for 40 years lets me spot the fakes fast with visuals, weight and ping test. Silver and gold have now outperformed the stock market since the year 2000 which is very impressive.
My approach has been to stack all different kinds of silver, but when the time comes to liquidate I intend to dispose of the generic bars first, then the rounds, then the modern Eagle & Maple Leaf type coins, but only as a last resort during the Clownpocalypse when the SHTF will I let go of my Constitutional silver.
The price is coming back down but supply is still hard to secure. Today I was given the price of $21.50 per dollar face value but with a minimum of $1,500 purchase
