    I have been stacking for about 2 years now. I coin roll hunt and most of my 90% half dollars I have found in rolls at the bank around $140 fv, or from customer dumps. I have bought most of my quarters and dimes, only occasionally finding them in rolls. I also have found lots of 40% silver halves in the past 2 years, close to $1000 fv. I sell my 40% when it makes sense to convert it to gold. The premium on 90% is super high right now, but it is the only silver that isn’t being made anymore, and easily understood by most people to be silver.

    When I started buying silver years ago junk silver was cheap and mostly what was available. There weren't all these silver dealers or all the stuff like rounds and bars. My income has been drastically reduced since I was forced to retire by medical issues but I haven't sold any of it because I figured the future sucked and my family would need it. I never thought of it as an investment but as a fall back for when paper money became green toilet paper. I figured someone would always be willing to trade for silver or gold. But I also recognized that cans of beans may be even more valuable. I never in my wildest nightmares ever thought I would possibly witness the end of the United States but that looks more like a possibility every days as the world is being taken over by criminals and evil bastards.

Many fake bars and rounds but 90% has just limited fake Morgans and being into 90% for 40 years lets me spot the fakes fast with visuals, weight and ping test. Silver and gold have now outperformed the stock market since the year 2000 which is very impressive.

    Hey Silver Joker! Thanks for another wonderful video! I am trying to continue stacking Constitutional, but the premiums are killing me. Hope for a pullback in the near future!

    I diversify my silver to 90%, bullion, government issue, bars and collectible coins. I do avoid old foreign silver, that’s too junky! Lol!

    I remember those prices - it was great....I stacked a lot too - so much I was able to pay off my mortgage when the silver demand went high...
    it was fun to buy - now not so much.

    SJ’s videos always make me want to run down to my LCS and buy 90%. I’m a little intimidated by the premiums, at the moment, but he might right about the prices for this just going higher and higher. I’m collecting some cash right now and will strike when I feel the price is right. I still sense a lot of FOMO right now and don’t want to buy at what might be artificially high levels.

      A $10 to $15 premium is no way to invest.

      Just buy a couple of dimes: they’ll get the hint: it’s too ‘spensive…

      @Ronald Mitchell If silver has to go to $35 to $40 an ounce to break even on the dimes then it's foolish

      Re your “artificially high “ comment, the price is and has been manipulated for ever, no one knows the true value!

    • @38wheat40
      @38wheat40 Год назад

      @@maccjw I probably could have phrased that better; I’m just not convinced that this is the most opportune time to start purchasing 90% again. If spot continues to dip, I may start buying generic bars, but I do love our constitutional silver.

    Why would refineries melt down junk silver? What is the incentive to remove it from the market?
