We bring you along for our full day, showing the commemorative gifts, the special 40 Years of EPCOT Ceremony with Voices of Liberty, Mariachi Cobre and more, the brand new 40th anniversary Beacon of Magic show on Spaceship Earth set to class EPCOT park and attraction songs, brand new and limited edition 40th anniversary merchandise, and a fun day of rides, food, shopping, fireworks and good times!

I was there 40 years ago as a WDW cast member and working over time from MK in EPCOT as part of the construction crew clean up. late at night when they first did a full test of the lighting of Space Ship Earth. I was helping clean up the American Pavilion and saw it light up fully for the first time from across the lake. it was awe inspiring... Magical for me on that central Florida cool clear late night.

Voices of Liberty singing New Horizons gave me goosebumps, and then Golden Dream made me tear up. Wow wow. I love Epcot! They did this anniversary right.

Jackie, thank you SO MUCH for recording the EPCOT 40 presentation! I'm in tears...I'm still crying! When Mr. Disney appeared on the screen, I felt chills. He's like everyone's dad! On a side note, I just purchased a token from yesterday's celebration. I'm sure I paid way too much for it but, it's literally a once in a lifetime event!. I got the guidemap, poster, and the anniversary pin.

When everyone around me cheered and got excited, it gave me chills! It’s just these little things for EPCOT fans that make us happy 🥹🥹🥹
I love, love, love that they have been embracing EPCOT’s history now. It used to be that once something was gone, it was like it never existed. Now, especially after 40 years, EPCOT has true history to be celebrated. The return of things like the pictograms, the pillars up front, and, most importantly, the music is just wonderful.
I actually saw three different versions of the special Beacon of Light (different times of the night) and each time, “We Go On” brought a huge cheer! I would love nothing more than for the permanent Harmonious replacement to be an updated version of Illuminations. The music for Reflections of Earth is truly one of the greatest in a Disney park!

My favorite Disney V-logger. I love your super enthusiasm. A couple of years ago my daughter (grown with a family) asked what I wanted for father's day. I replied there is nothing I want except the one thing money can't buy. Time with my daughter. We did a drink around the world at Epcot. A memory I will always have. 🥰🥲

What a beautiful ceremony. Think what gave it the extra uplifting feels, the fact the anniversary celebrates not just Epcot but an unofficial dedication to life...and remembrance.
What a great EPCOT 40th Anniversary Celebration 🎉 The celebration show was great, Walt Disney definitely imagined greatly, the imaginers did good with the way EPCOT became. The merch is awesome. I would want to buy something with Figment. Spaceship Earth is amazing. I just love it all. The was great to do after the horrific situation with hurricane Ian. Of course our Prayers are still going out to those in the hurricane zones. This was amazing and joyful and fun. Thank you. Be Safe Take Care ❤️

Thank you for sharing! My first trip to Epcot was in 1983 with my sister Cathy and we went two more times together after that. Cathy passed away in 1998 from ovarian cancer but Epcot will always be my favorite park as she seems to be with me around every corner every time I have been back since her passing. The things I miss most are probably Horizons, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth and Maelstrom. Also the ORIGINAL Journey Into Imagination I was obsessed with Figment and had to have the plush!! 💜

I always love your appreciation for Epcot in every single vlog. I’ve only gotten the chance to visit Epcot during my CP in 2018 and once in 2020. But I always felt like Epcot had the real magic of putting you in a good mood with it’s laid back environment. So no matter what changes Epcot will go through beyond our lifetime , I feel like it will always be that special place for everyone all ages!

I’ve said it before but the lights on Spaceship Earth is the only thing WDW really got right for the 50th. I’ve loved all the special shows they’ve done and this one had all the feels ❤

Glad that Ian has passed and the parks also weathered the storms and are open again, serving up great fun! Hard to believe that EPCOT has been around for 40 years! While it may not be Walt’s original vision, I think he’d be proud to see how beloved EPCOT has become. Another great video, Jackie! I've loved EPCOT since first going there in 1983 while in high school. I've got a story for that trip but I can't post that here. 😏🤣I was fortunate to go on Oct 1,2011 for the resort's 40th. Got to meet the now retired Disney archive main man Dave. Wish I was at Epcot yesterday but I am in spirit because of you Jackie and some of your co vbloggers Thank you for your continuous labor of love that he as brought us joy and happiness you have brought us every week We hope to meet you and Sam at the resort some day. 🤗❤️

I was at EPCOT for the first time in a LONG time yesterday for a friend’s birthday and I’m soooo sad I missed out on those commemorative maps 😭 makes me want an annual pass real bad! Thank you for all you do to keep us updated on the parks!! ❤️🔥

Happy 40th Anniversary Epcot! The Beacons of Magic at Spaceship Earth looks amazing!! Epcot's the best! My favorite memories: I enjoyed Test Track, Mission Space (Earth Team), and their version of Soarin when I first went to the park! Things I'm looking forward to next time I'm there in the future: I'm definitely going to try Cosmic Rewind and I believe I can get great footage of the ride with my new iPhone 14 Pro Max while using a neck strap for safety! I can't wait to go on the rides I haven't been on during my time there 4 years back including Figment, 3 Caballeros, Finding Nemo, Frozen, and the new Ratatouille ride that came out a year ago! Harmonius looks awesome! I would definitely watch it in person if I make it to DisneyWorld before it's 50th Anniversary ends after March!

My best friend of more than 40 years used to work at Epcot. He worked at the original Stargate restaurant which changed to the Electric Umbrella. Now what is it? The Creations Cafe or something like that? Anyway, he worked there and last year, in 2021 he and I both got the covid. I recovered and he did not. He passed away. I said that to say this: Epcot is my daughter and I's favorite park. It holds memories for us because of my friend that worked there. We will be there in one week. If I see you, I'll say hello. Remember my little odd you tube name, the coolestdad.

Thank you so much for sharing your day. Until we moved out of Florida my family and I visited that park many times since about 1984. When we lived in Apopka from 1991-2003 we had annual passes and went more often. It was my favorite Disney park. Other than Spaceship Earth my favorite ride was The Land. I too always wanted to live in the farmhouse at the beginning of the ride! By the way, I believe that Spaceship Earth was modeled in part on the USA pavilion at Expo '67 World's Fair in Montreal. At that time, I lived in New Hampshire and our whole class took a trip up there. The monorail actually went through the sphere there. I have a picture of it.
Thank you so much for this video! EPCOT is by far our favorite park and though we could not be there for the 40th, you brought us there. Regarding EPCOT memories, the Beacon of Magic music totally brought us back to the early 2000's after a Party of the Senses during Food and Wine. We'd have completed a wonderful evening of tasting, have our commemorative wine glasses in plastic bag, and listening to that classic Illuminations show before heading off to our resort. Perfect...

Epcot is my favorite park next to the Magic Kingdom wow 40 years of epcot where does the time go and i love walking around the world showcase and i loved riding guardians of the galaxy.
I got engaged during Illuminations in 2010! And in honor of us, my best friend and her fiance got engaged during Iluuminations in 2017.
I visited Epcot for the first time on the first anniversary in 1983; I was 14 and I was there for the opening day three days later of horizons, which I still miss so much! I miss all of the classic things that opened up Epcot, and all the songs that they played on the beacons of light show just brought all that back!
Epcot is one of my fav parks and I have many memories of eating in Mexico I recently found old menus and going in spaceship earth and I have old test track items and Jackie great job holding the camera at the presentation at the America stage ❤😀

Very strange as living with the land is always empty like walk on most of the time. I ride it to try learning something as my garden needs work and I try something to fix it.

I've never visited Epcot, but I watch many videos because I do love what it stands for. Hope for the future, and celebration of the cultures of the world, are messages I wish I could hear far more often outside Epcot's gates. Thank you for sharing your love of Epcot with us.

Hi Horacio! I thought I already responded to this but I’m not sure what happened. Yes for sure I have done tons of videos on Gatorland and so many lesser known Florida attractions, I sometimes think the algorithm doesn’t push those out as much bc some ppl only seem to see or comment on the Disney ones but I’ve been traveling all over America this year doing tons of road trips and showing so much more of Florida. I hope more ppl see and give those vids a chance, bc I want to support all the smaller attractions tooI love Gatorland so much, will def go again soon!! Thank u and hope you’re doing good! ❤️❤️❤️
You might want to check out Frostproof Florida in southern Polk County.It has a charming downtown surrounded by 2 beautiful large lakes famous for it's bass fishing.It's an undiscovered,off the beaten path gem!
