I noticed Swahili is spoken even in the classroom. Is it spoken everywhere?? like a general language that everyone understands in Kenya?
I'm Nigerian and English/pidgin English is like the common thing. The exceptions now depend on what part of the country you are in where you get accustomed to the most popular language spoken.
Anyone to enlighten me on the language palava???

Yes, my exact thought. We all dont speak and understand Swahili so i think it would be best if there are subtitles for the parts spoken in Swahili; that way others who do not understand Swahili can still follow. I almost stopped watching a few minutes into it but decided to watch without listening since it looked like an interesting series. Thank youuuu

That wasn't what I meant though... if you go through the comments, quite a number of people also mentioned that they should help the non-Swahili speakers with subtitles. And I really don't know what is bad about adding subtitles especially if it will help other people from other countries to be able to watch, unless you want only Kenyans or Swahili speakers to watch and that's okay.
@@joanneseddie7872 okay thats sounds great. i may have overstepped.. but the language in the episodes is sheng - a local millenial and gen-z language but everyone understands it. Its not swahili.. if translated, it will loose meaning " will make close to zero sense" thats what i meant. Like the scene in the football field, that part is all in sheng and there is no way of translating it. Cause when put in english, its gibberish.
