Honestly, it doesn't get better than that combination. Streich is awesome and as Petersen says it's unimaginable him not being there. He should have gotten the Germany job I reckon. He is a joy to watch. He is all about football, with the high and lows. Also very sceptical and critical and his feet are grounded. He represents Freiburg in the best possible light and I believe due to that he has a team. His players would do anything for him. Schmid came backe, same as Grifo. Petersen never left although he could have. And then you look at the players he developed into internationals. Günther, Grifo, Petersen, Ginter, Waldschmidt and so on. Epic what he does with such a small Team. No miracle Tuchel said the coach of the year award could have easily gone to Freiburg. I think that says it all.
