I'm a native English speaker and a long time Easy German watcher. I decided to watch one of the English videos out of interest. It is amazing how many people start and stop thoughts and sentences before they're fully constructed, or let others finish sentences for them. This is all in the territory of conversational language, and it is heightened after a drink I am sure. Seeing it in my own language, and knowing that I do this too, has made me realise that this probably happens a lot on Easy German too. It is a realisation that I should be a bit more kind to myself when watching Easy German and trying to follow sentences that don't always resolve fully! It also makes me realise how important Easy German is for me in learning to keep up with the language I hear in everyday life in Austria. Thank you to all of you working on all of the Easy language channels!
I am also an easy German watcher still very hard to understand the language 😢
You always find the most beautiful inside and out people! Kind humans! And congrats on the people celebrating their 60th birthday. They look 40
The woman looks like she's covered in 40 litres of fake tan. Look at the ears, she missed a bit!!!
I enjoyed while watching. Seeing people using daily based language is practical way to boost english thanks thanks thanks ❤😊
You're welcome! We hope you enjoy. 💙
2:08 - Important clarification there... 😅😁
3:22 - As a language lover who never drinks any kind of alcoholic beverage, except for the odd glass of rompope 😉, there's just no way on earth that I would understand that to mean anything other than _International Phonetic Alphabet_ . 😆
Top vid, Mitch, old mate, you just keep getting better and better, which is saying something since you were already pretty awesome right off the start! Big hug!
💪🇬🇧🇲🇽😎👍
ROTFL (12 year old) whisky not people 😂😂😂
I was in London before RUclips and the internet, at least the portable internet on your cell phone and I feel I missed out on so much! I must go back!!!
That was bar far one the best videos in your channel. Thanks a million.
Thanks for such a nice compliment! 🙌
This is my favourite episode so far.
🙌
I couldn’t pick one but ISI at the supermarket in England starting a conversation with the lady when she was just being polite (the lady), always makes me chuckle!
Ummm drink it while you're pregnant? Please don't drink ANY alcohol while pregnant
👍👍👍
One more idea on the list of useful things to do next year: pub crawling in Brighton!
Love it! Such a great idea… one which will ultimately, lead to the filming and presenting quantity getting worse and worse 😆🍻
'It's a hipster drink', remarked the hipster.
It is called films not movies mate 👌🏻😁🇬🇧
Lager Guinnes Snowball Shandy black ale I love your Easty English Superb Thanks and Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas 🎄🥂
I didn't know the word "hoppy". Sounds like "happy" for beer lovers. 😄 Amazing episode. 3:24
that's a very interesting episode, thanks! 🍺
One guy looks like Robert Pattinson
I really like videos about English pubs, they are very interesting, in my country there are many but I would like to try the real ones. A month ago I was going to buy a Guinness beer in one of those pubs but unfortunately they ran out of them.
I absolutely love British pubs! I always go to a pub called cask with friends whenever I visit Manchester.
I drink rum. At home.
12 yo whiskey not people 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I do like an occasional pint in the pub. There are a few pubs in London where I would go to sometimes, have a pint and write a little bit. I am also of the opinion that Wetherspoon's is the Primark of the pub world: because it's cheap and cheerful, people are more likely to turn a blind eye to the microwaved food, unethical business practices and brexit supporting owner (depending on what side of the aisle you fall down on) Although I go to Wetherspoon's because it's cheap so I guess I'm a hypocrite.
But I have also known people who because it's a chain deride Wetherspoon's as being soulless places with no atmosphere or individual personality.
😊
I just use Weatherspoons for a toilet. There’s so many of them so you can feel reassured you’ll always find a toilet if you’re out and about.
The pronunciation "news" of the first guy is well?
Now I want no need to go to Brighton 🍻
