What I learned from this series is that there are a lot of bronzes that are a little mistakes less away from becoming plat, and a lot of plats are just bronzes that make a bit less mistakes.
This is wild. In this video, they dont look bad at all. I for sure thought that Mercy and Genji/Tracer were plat
They look good on the papier, but in reality they have a lot of flaws. Just no one is capable of abusing them. At some point I was trying to rank up my tank for the first time as a peek diamond 5 DPS. I just realised that in silver 3, everyone is around their tank. Which make life easier for the tank players. Instead of running after them , they all come to you. You just have to make sure they die
Plat is very linear. Everyone has a plan for what they want to do but they don’t necessarily have the spacial awareness or teamwork mindset. So plat gets destroyed by actual team cohesion. Bronze is a bunch of players figuring it out and working together. So that’s why it looks similar.
I am the guy named "Goldendoge" in this video! This was very fun to record and it was so funny watching this play out live on stream. Thanks for having me!
PS. I am bronze 5 dps cause I cannot aim so every game I lose since I throw lol. I main rein so I'm gold 3 for tank right now.
@@randodud3 im gold on all roles and dps is by far my worst lol i cant aim for crap idk how im not bronze
Get gut whit position does alot, and 15:13 your sensitive is sky high, lower it to other heroes and keep rein up,
if you do more than 180 turn whit one wrist movement its overkill kind a. i think you can rotate 3 times :D
I wouldn't worry about aim too much! I'm plat and I have shit aim. It's mostly where you put yourself and knowing when to get out of dosge:)
@@lacai527 I do have my sens lowered for every hero except rein. I only have 8 inches of room for my mouse so I cant put it too low since i wouldn't be able to flick. Right now I can only turn a little less than 180 with the amount of space I can use but with rein I can do a full 360 and im used to it for rein. I am still playing around with the sens though, I went from 3.5% to 2.5% now 3% for any other character.
I was thinking that this gameplay looked more like a spectating bronze rather than a secret bronze, which makes complete sense now. It’s crazy the different “skill” level in bronze. Some who are… trying, and others that aren’t as bad as a “typical” bronze.
I completely fell for that twist I was thinking this doesn't look like plat/ diamond but I would have never guessed the outcome 😂
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
these are a lot of fun to do,
so thank you! ❤
Loved playing in this wish I could’ve done better but disconnected quite a bit and lagging like shit at my place-Sincerely FlipFlops
youre one cryptic guy but i saw through you
Love that content. Love the rhymes in the twists even more. But don't do them every time. You will find yourself always trying to beat the last one 😅
I understand that mercy's pain with my whole soul as a previous mercy stuck in bronze.
You deserve better baby
She didn't pull out the glock, tsk tsk. But for real her movement is great for Bronze.
shes really good but those rez cancels 😭 idk if it was on purpose or not but it hurts
Great movement frfr. Unfortunately with Mercy as their #1 hero, they rely on DPS popping off. 2nd main as Moira is a good flex pick, but their movement wasn’t as good on her. I can see them climbing though if they keep it up! It was a fun match to watch!
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite series.
CoachKoby doing the live TTS was SUCH a good touch. Love the video!
As a support who had to go through hell just to get to silver 1 just before getting tanked back to bronze 5 the next season reset, I relate to all four supports here on a spiritual level.
I was defending the dva too saying there were playing too bad to be bronze, they had to be acting. bamboozled
I burst out laughing at the reveal. That was hilarious
I was going to guess that there was one platinum. Everybody else was bronze on each team, so I feel like I was close but you have to love the naughtiness of just giving you a bronze game to watch. That’s hilarious.😂
The series of expressions on emongg's face at 8:08 are incredible.
I'm the Dva in this, yes I know my gameplay was shit, I'm a support main. But, I will answer any questions people have about me or my gameplay!
You were not shit! For not being a tank player you did better than tanks (also never left los for heals tysm for that)
No there is no sugarcoating. That was definitly shit. 😄 but that's fine. That's why you're bronze and there's so much room for improvement and you'll get there, surely. At least now you have learned a few things to improve your gameplay easily .. like actually pay attention to your flight ability 😄✊️
@@el_brehmo5748 i mean playing eith them and knowing the knowledge the mechanics yes need work but for furst time in months and i never once had to worry about them going out of los. Yes places i wish there was los or i shouldve been more clear i wanted dm for a rez bur all in all not the worst dva. And there was a match before this and i can say that one was a bit better for them and thats why i can say it wasnt shit it was kust inexperience
This was purely for fun and for atleast remaining aware of where supports are i say its good (:
If there's one thing to point out about your DVA gameplay, it is that you're way too passive. DVA is good at attacking, a bit like Winston
Before I started watching this I was thinking it'd be hilarious to tell both teams to act like bronzes but have zero bronzes on 1 or either team.
Called the Ana and Kiriko immediately. They're 2 of my most played hero's and they played just like me. I'm in Bronze.
Yeah that Tracer definitely looked better than Bronze. Honestly threw me off. Props to your editor for continuing the gaslight with the thumbnail LOL I legit thought Koby was gonna go for the "also there are secret smurfs" trick again (which I loved, and would like to see again).
The greatest twist since Overwatch 2 actually realised
Based on the first hint coach koby gave it crossed my mind that the entire lobby was bronze. But I had other guess's as to what it meant too. The one plat two plat ect. hint confused me even more and I would not have guessed they were all bronze.
When you watch it back knowing what we know you can see it. No one has any exceptional mechanical skill. No one really pops off.
"chat thinking chat will be in the video" shout out to that wrong guy
Shout out to the guy in chat that thought chat wouldn't be in the video!
Plot twist: He did that on purpose for attention
@@Vexed711 D:
Txwizzler is one of them forsure. Those echo plays were hilarious. 13:30 that looks EXACTLY like my platinum doomfist. NO WAY thats bronze. WillBR is my guess for the other team.
25:35 i feel like those are really bad sym turrets. Also diamond syms are soooo good with the teleports. This sym is super basic imo. I really love these types of videos. Super fun
Wowwwwwwwww i definitely wouldnt have guessed the ending..... Wow.....
Idk how that mercy on the red team is still bronze. Their mechanics are really good!
Genuinely? Probably being held back by their teammates. Bronze is the only rank where “my teammates are all bad!” can be a genuine argument for why you don’t rank up 😭
Especially as a support. If your tank or dps are garbage, you’re basically screwed
The answer is throwers! I had a game a tank threw first fight because no heals (he was on cart not after a team fight we won and both supports got flanked by echo so I had to go tank brig and somehow won with no tank)
I will admit my mechanics here are not to my own standards and honestly flunked most rezzes because my heart was pounding burive been hard stuck bronze 5 (tho season 2 I started in the first of January I got up to silver 5 but then I got a string of throwers and leavers)
Honestly she should just go Moria and carry her way out of bronze then start playing mercy again
@@Vexed711 I actually dont play mercy much in bronze unless i know dps or tank are good! My go to is bap and brig (brig is really on certain maps ot when i know the tank is agressive
All the bronzes in here blaming their teammates will never make it out of bronze. So everyone except you just got lucky and never had throwers? Really? That's what you're telling yourself? The reason why Mercy isn't climbing aren't her teammates, its that she's playing a hero that has low impact in low elo. You need to learn different heroes to climb. OTPing a team dependent hero in bronze IS throwing. You need to play independent heroes and solo carry. That's the only solution. If you wanna climb out of bronze, DON'T play mercy in bronze.
When noone died to the dva bomb I was gonna say noone was bronze, I could not have been more wrong
0:41 Dancing cat in the background.
Hi everyone I am The one and only FLIPFLOPS and I’d like to apologize on most of my bad gameplay it was my first time on in awhile I kept disconnecting and lagging the entire match sitting at 120-250 most of it
Bronze players are evolving
the skill gap between bronze 5 and bronze 1 is bigger than the skill gap between gm 5 and gm 1 change my mind
Agreed. Masters 5 up to GM1 are all quite close together in skill. An average masters player and an average GM player are almost interchangeable. The difference between bronze 5 and bronze 1 is like the difference you experience when you struggle to beat a game as a child and come back to it as an adult and easily beat it.
Also, some bronzes and silver can play on a gold/plat level, but make like one or two huge mistakes per match that costs them the win. I am plat/dia and play with a silver support friend often. You would think shes plat if you play with her. But when you spectate, you see her doing some mistake so stupid that she looses a very important teamfight because of it. Thats the main reason keeping a lot of people down in bronze/silver imo.
the bronze 5 to bronze 2 gap is magnitudes wider than the masters 1 to top 500 gap.
@@benjaminseverinsen8713 bro said top 500
As a moira main, that moira makes me cringe how robotic that moira is! He doesn't use the fade and heals allies with full HP instead of distracting the backline
I DONT PLAY MOIRA LEAVE ME BE 😭 i’m a mercy main but our team comp wasn’t mercy friendly 💀 thank you for the tip abt backline though !!!
This proves Elo Hell is real, the skill difference between these bronze is too funny
I love this analyzing play styles, especially as a bottom tier player.
18:47 never related to someone more than this right here. 😂❤
Guessed a lot of them where bronze but didn't actually think the symetra was one of them lol
That is a GREAT twist at the end!
I would want the impossible to come back again guessing the bronze and a top 500 player again also bring back guess the rank
Emmoge is going to have trust issues after this
What a swell treat.
I was not ready for that twist
Update from me (after the video i barely played comp but more out the dread) but today i went bronze 5(better than 67%) to bronze 1 (better than %50 in rank) in 3 ranks ups (5-5-1, 5-0-0, 5-0-0) its the first time this season and yeah it still is bronze but im proud i ranked up 5 divisions in one sitting (:
(Also now my w/l over all in now off by 20 now!, i used to tilt queue when i was really new so i ised to be in the negatives by 80-90 all roles but i think support wise in now in the positives!
I also got an alt and played that more comp solo to see and i got g2 with a kinda bad lost ratio but i think i can do better there too
I didn't think they were all bronze but seeing the sym wall go up for the dva bomb made me realize how slow this entire game has been
This looked like it could be a normal bronze game with platinum smurfs on either team... also known as a regular bronze game of Overwatch
Each week I'm getting worse at guessing the hidden bronzes...
In this game i fucked up all my rezzes its insane, i got anxious so much and forgot to stop pressing one button
Also love the riddle as we had comms atleast on our team
I am baffled, I’m silver 1 in support and I’m nowhere near that good as that mercy.
OMG TYSM
@@aceinspacepng7495 OMG a celebrity replied to my comment! Lol no but seriously you played really well!
@@KikiCatMeow honestly I was just doing super julps cause they couldn't get me in the air but Merxy parkour and trying to use only slingshots helps understand it imo. Honestly this was a off game for me but it's nice to hear ppl that think I did good (:
The way part of his monitor stand is hanging over the table is giving me anxiety..
Tbh, that 7.77 dono threw me off, I think I could've guessed it if not for that.
koby the riddler
The tanks were obvious for sure. Doom jumping very high, not cancelling his slam etc. Orisa shaky aim it was also obvious. But all bronze dats crazy
I wasn't expecting that twist at all.
Tbh the difference between high bronze and low bronze is easily the biggest of any rank. Low bronze is a fascinating place to visit.
Stuck bronze 5 in damage, had a game where the enemy sombra would run in, hack, stand still and shoot, but wouldn’t tp. I don’t think she used the translocator a single time that match. She got gunned down every single time and ended up going 4-23 😭
Low bronze is genuinely really funny sometimes
This ruled, very fun
I was bronze 5 at the end of OW1 and at the beginning of OW2. Just because I was playing competitive mode for the sake of getting a rank on calibration. This season I'm trying to get platinum, but with a score of 5/7 on the tank and the inscription "you are better than 83% of the players in this division", my rank remains the same. And I also like the hidden pool in this game, when my team is given people with a negative percentage of wins who are not able to think in general
Sounds like a skill issue tbh
@@cooltwittertag no I just don't like competitive. Most of my efforts don't pay off, as it's a team game and I can't win the game alone. Therefore, until the current season, I played only to get a rank on season's start
@@cooltwittertag honestly, I don't have the best AIM, I can make mistakes in positioning. But even if a miracle happened and the whole team went into a voice chat, they are always silent - no one except me tells information about recharging abilities, enemy positions, etc. Even if I do my best to win, my allies, in most cases, play under beer or without a monitor
@@cooltwittertag and even with 72% wr on Sigma, witch is my most played character I can't climb))
"I don't think it's the sym bc she's doing an off angle" my dude bronze players aren't Muppets they just don't have good mechanics and make bad choices sometimes. But they still try to make plays.
To mess with Emongg They put all Bronze players.. HeHe
about in the middle of the game i realized that most of them were bronzes. like at 2nd point round 1. too many questionable plays. and by the end i assumed 8 were bronzes. What made me figure it out was their playstylyes. And i focused on what they werent doing/ cant do instead of what they were. Like the mercy never rezzed . Dva never used boosters. echo cant aim . a kiriko has bada suzu managemnt. even though in the beggining the sym went right side i still didnt rule her out because every rank knows how to flank/take angles. i think the most important thing is to remember not every bronze player has a rock for a brain and some actually know how to play . but there will always be something sus
this is coming from bronze dps/tank player and silver/gold support
@@nejishairfolicle1667 idk man i think that's just cause you live there. Even as a plat/diamond, I was sure most of that had to be on purpose. Positioning and timing skills is one thing, not using a whole button is such a different issue. In retrospect it felt like there was a lot of skill disparity between them, itd probably be easier to see with a silver in the lobby - i think theres a big gap between the tanks at the bottom of wood and a couple of those dps that are probably bronze 1 or 2.
Honestly me canceling my rezzes was just anxiety mostly ngl, i did pull off 2 but 1 i died because i wanst clear in comms for dva to DM me and just getting stiff hands and couldbt lift my finger off the w key lmao. Rezzing techs are pretty easy just was on edge so i forgot my basics
interesting i was thinking 3-4 bronzes both, Joee and Gold was decent, like Gold understood to wraith away to health pack, Joe had situational awarness.
I think it would be cool to hear there comms while you’re spectating to see what bronze comms sound like
We can't because it was a discord call. For red team (we were called the PogChamp) it was alot of compliments and me rambling. Also me apologizing for messing but my rezzes and then asking for suzu or dm for a rez but it was on me for being to ballsy
What the cat doing 0:42
You are the best mr jeff 😂 keep it up i love ur vids!
That was a torture evaluation!
I knew it was either all or no bronze at all 😂
I knew that the first Echo we watched had to be bronze because when she was over by the elevators she looked so genuinely lost and like she didn't know what to do. Never would have guessed that they were all bronze tho but this is my first time watching and you said that the plat + diamond players try to make it hard to tell so 🤷♀
I didnt expect that ending
You know what Twitch chat always says hi in these vods. So you know what HIII TWTICH CHAT!!!
spectating the second team really convinced me the 3 bronze twist was real.... literally everyone on their team except mei looked like they were struggling ;-;
rein on first team was hard because it high key looked like he was just baiting. baiting or started playing overwatch yesterday
Emong should have to watch the full game then begin analyzing bc he psyched himself out so hard
I thought Bronze must not be that bad but watching this series show me the true side of Bronze
i thought each team was 4 bronzes and one plat (some plays were giving, like symm good wall), but overall, yeah, it was pretty obvious
16:44 OMG YESS HE REALIZED WHAT I DID!!! I i know mercy is a blade target and typically can outcheal a blade (tho idk id thats a season 3 only thing)
I'm really sorry you're stuck in bronze with this mercy gameplay. I've been there once and it's really sad how hard it is to climb even if you play decently
@@akaikeshi1906 thanks! And typically I don't mess up rezzes but I was so anxious and in vc (tho the dying to reaper was my bad because I asked for suzu or dm for it but started before they could get to me)
It is a boost or confidence that in my opinion bad mercy game for me fooled ppl and I'm hoping I can get out of bronze (I have gotten 15 wins and still bronze 5 because of a bad lose streak of throwers late s2 early s3)
@@aceinspacepng7495 The best way to get out of bronze as mercy if you are not mechanicly gifted to go battle mercy and kill the half of the enemy team on your own. Is knowing who your target is to heal/dmg boost. Fancy stuff like huge rez and such is not necesarry at all neither is the crazy mercy jumps, which actualy makes it easier to get hit anyway. It is actualy much better to learn and recognize when someone is rezz-able and when they are not. Rezz-able meaning if you use rez there that you will be fine no matter what the enemy team tries to do to you. And if you need to rez in a bad spot ask the help from your team. (Dva Matrix, Rein Shield, Orisa Spin, Kiriko suzu, Genji deflect etc..)
It is also about recognizing the best player in your team and enabling them to do so much more. Mercy is one of the most broken supports if played correctly. You can single handenly carry and make it impossible for the enemy team to do anything. Atleast up to diamond that is cause after that you are going to encounter more dive comps that will counter u and you need to learn to play around that when you get there.
If there is not a better player in the lobby it comes down to knowing the game better, knowing cooldowns and how to utliize them the best by comunicating it to your team. Also tracking ultimates is a fun thing to do as mercy cause you are not doing much else anyway apart from holding either left or right click. Knowing which ultimates the enemy has can help with better positioning and decision making before the fight starts.
Also calling out when a enemy makes a mistake and to tell your team to turn and shoot that person might help you win some games aswell.
And most importanty knowing when you need to swap targets to heal/dmg boost. But dmg boost is not really necesary untill you are atleast at plat/diamond cause your teammates take to much damage till then and normaly don't have the mechanics to enable with dmg boost.
@@xerminator83 appreciated but these are things I already know and seek out, like I said I wasn't playing full ability and nerves kicked in. Like the reaper Rez I did ask for dm and suzu. And I can go battle mercy but if I need more dps and heals I just go bap honestly because in bronze luck isn't on my side and if a team will get no ultilty from mercy I just swap so I can atleast do my part and for me bap is a good swap so I can get flying heros and still have high heals
The state of bronze is makes it hard for supports to climb because you can be out healing their supports but you also get to a point you get more elims than your dps or have a tank or dps not giving LOS so heals. I had games I could carry mercyvin bronze but it's rarely the case because you don't have a team to support or have team that go in while the supports dead or just leaving supports alone where it's easy to get flanked.
I focus on my stats and i can say most games i can atleast say i have 0 deaths (or only deaths are to a ult or dying to regroup)
And i have dealt with aggressive divers in bronze so i do onow how to manipulate her movements with GA slingshots so i and safe until with next cooldown if the team doesnt het them while out of position.
But with bronze rn mercy is fun to play but not really the best pick if you are stuck with non ideal team that doesnt understand falling back for heals or cant finish off a low target
that tracer was great! i totally believed that they were plat/diamond
When I was told there was a trick I was like yeah they're all bronze
I thought it was another secret upper rank with that Tracer/Mei movement
Can confrim all of us are bronze, with career profiles
Nennal thinking chat wont be in the video Omegalul
I know this is really specific, but anyone know the song that comes in at 12:00? That shit was smooth lol
These are awesome! I wanna join one of these some time.
i swear to god this game looked just like my bronze 5 dps games.
oh… that’s why lmao
Bamboozled 😂
Honestly this Dva start was kinda adorable not to be rude. It just reminded me of how overwhelming it can be to make space and initiative fights when you’re inexperienced. Then again I have 2,8k hours so i have a different definition of experienced.
From the start I was like "They all look bronze to me"
Turns out I was right 😅
Im surprised that Tracer is bronze honestly. I guessed her to be at least high plat too low diamond.
How can we join this series as a player?
So what I'm grabbing from this series is that we are all equal 🤝
sully stole the show in the into
Oh god that was so funny at the end I also tried to spot them lol
My first guess when they said there's a catch was they all bronze
After 2nd clue I thought it's all of them or none of them.
All bronzes, or all plats throwing hard.
How was that Gengi and Mei in bronze tho? Wow
It's so hard to tell if 5 bronze or 5 plat trying to lose
I love these lmao 😂❤
Nope wrong game dood. Gecko is already claimed good sir
this was the best one lol
I knew that mercy was bronze, that was garbage movement for the easiest movement hero in a plat+ game, but ALL bronze? Nah wat, that tracer was sick, better than my own tracer even
It's probably easier for a bronze dps to "pop off" if their targets are bronze. I do think it could obfuscate the rank since there is less skill disparity than we'd expect if there was a mix of ranks in the games.
Honestly my movement typically is better but 1 I knew the video, 2 wasnt really warmed up andwas just anxious and since i lnew the other team wasnt focusing me a basic super jump was all i did. (Also the fact first time on hollywood on mercy) but honestly i didnt wanna risk messing up slingshots and getting in trouble.
Im not the best player but i wasnt not playing as seriously movement wise as i knew with what was happening i could stay alive in the air
I was playibg floaty mercy but i have my own vods to prove i know most the movement tech and where to use it. I didn’t wanna risk it for a map and challenge thats new to me (and since season 3 nerfs ive been playing brig more anyways)
And also i was fine exposibg myself to the air because we had a warm up game and i knew their team couldnt shoot down mercy (short range rien, a tracer eas focusing the ground, and i could ga to kiriko for ana shots) i know im not the best but this isnt a show case of movement techs i know
@@aceinspacepng7495 Oh dw that was good movement in bronze, just wouldnt cut it in plat+, especially overshooting the jump-rez is a big no no. For gold and lower, youre good, nobody fkn shooting the mercy anyway there
@@D_Quinn the rez cancel was honestly i havent had to rez in ult in a long time and when i do i know im safe and dont need to move i did it twice because butter fingers. But yeah it was basic but not my skill cap! At this point my hand was tired. But i am aware floaty air mercy no directional slingshots isnt ideal but like you said in bronze i can get away with. Ive practiced most the techs and (i know this has nothing to do with actual games) but can complete most mercy parkour maps in 300-600 seconds depending on the map length. But I keep learning and just play with how my team and enemy plays, if they are double hs i wouldve been more conservative but in the end of the day i was doing thsi for fun and i had a blast with my team :D
Me patiently waiting for the call for Masters Nintendo Switch players. 😔
Some of these bronze player's must always get bad teammates and are stuck there
Once bronze 5 always bronze 5
I like these analyzing videos. It always amazes me how everyone expect bronze players be 50 IQ :D
Too much screen clutter, get rid of the chat window would be better.
I thought maybe it was just Tanks and Support that where bronze but that is because i suck at dps and couldnt with them. Mercy movement looked good but when she canceled rez i was like nah.
I would kill to play in this due to stuff I have been told as a bronze...
What a plot twist
Haven’t watched the full video but I’m about halfway through it and I really really want to say their all bronze….
